ASSUMPTION: You and I both agree that the removal of Trump hurts "my party". FACT: I want Trump removed anyway. LOGICAL CONCLUSION: My desire to have Trump removed isn't tied to leaning Left. Now a skeptic could claim I just hate the right so much that I want to see them shamed, even if it hurts my side. Or you can give me the benefit of the doubt based on what you think of my thought processes (I hope) and believe I think the benefit of removing Trump outweighs the costs to my party. Therefore I'd be choosing country over party. Now you are allowed to disagree with me on the cost vs benefit, but this is about my motives as opposed to whether or not I'm right or wrong. He's already setting up the groundwork. Moreover, he's already asking about his ability to Pardon his staff, family members and himself. There was a part of me that was hoping he'd just grow weary of the job and playing president, but now that he gets to drive vroomvroom trucks and go to big fancy parades, it seems like he's going to go out kicking and screaming. And regrettably, sessions refused to do so. Trump has been told about the Optics of firing yet another justice department employee. So he has to get him to quit. One sessions decided to be a pain in the ass about it, just very mysteriously this leak shows up less than 12 hours later? Yeah I'm not buying it.
