The fact remains Sam... because that's who we are talking about was the Dems second largest donor and nothing will happen to him. If FTX sent money to republicans it won't surprise me they played both sides of the aisle. Real quick since you're focused on this. When sam said he was only public about his democrat donations so that the press would view him favorably. What did he mean by that? I mean our press is fair and balanced. Seems like a weird thing to say. Yes the point is they played both sides of the aisle. Lol I’ve never said the press was balanced, cool strawman though

dogcows 1,030 Posted December 2, 2022 The FTX weirdo with a nasty fro admitted that he gve equally to both parties, but that his donations to Republicans were through shell corporations to hide them. Of course, he was donating money he stole from depositors who are highly unlikely to get any of their money back. This was a scam from day 1, as I believe pretty much all crypto is. Just read the below info from the bankruptcy filing. This was never a legitimate business. https://threadreaderapp.com/thread/1593292792582635520.html

Sam is claiming he did donate just as much to Republicans but it was “dark.” Not sure if true or not. But his co-CEO definitely did including creating his own PAC to do so, and apparently his girlfriend ran for Congress and was backed by Trump.

When it comes to investing in crypto, I know even less. I'd appreciate it if someone here could answer the following questions. 1: If I decided I wanted to invest, would MicroStrategy (MSTR) be a good way to do so ? 2: How would cryptocurrency be beneficial to me ? Like most people, when it comes to finances, I like to keep things as simple as possible. For 20+ years, I've been paying my 5 monthly 'utility bills' automatically via my checking account. That account has no fees, and the automatic monthly payments are free. Last time I figured it up, that has saved me around to $1000 in checks & stamps, + eliminated the possibility that a check would arrive late, get lost in the mail, etc. $1000 isn't a lot of money, but how many times do you have something you don't enjoy doing, done automatically & actually save money in the process ? Surprisingly, a substantial number of friends & family still insist on writing out checks every month ? I currently have 4 credit cards & use them for all my daily transactions. AMEX for groceries 3%, Mastercard for fuel 3%, & a visa for everything else 2%. I also use the visa to pay my homeowners insurance, auto insurance, umbrella insurance, and my monthly healthcare bill. Between those 3, I save around $600 per year. The 4th card is a chase freedom unlimited. Signed up for this late last fall. Spend $600 in the first 3 months, and get a $300 credit. This is called credit card churning. I started doing this about 7 years ago, & in spite of me paying my cards in full and on time every month, & terminating the card after 12 months, they keep sending me new offers. I've made $3000 doing this over the past 7 years. The best part is that it's tax free. With that in mind, tell me how I'd be better off with crypto. Crypto currency isn't beneficial. Bitcoin is. Literally everything else is inferior or a scam. Any chain that throws its benefits around never discloses the trade offs. There are always trade offs. Other currencies are so far behind bitcoin that there is no catching up. Block chain trilema. You can have 2 of the three on the base layer: decentralization, security, scalability. You cannot solve for all 3 on the base layer, but the more important of the three are security and decentralization. Bitcoin has fixed and is improving scalability with lightning network

They had scheduled maintenance yesterday and today this attack sure seems timely with that maintenance. CZ says they keep 1to1 assets. This stress test will be interesting and they seem to be holding strong. Coinbase is a publicly traded company so I would expect them to be a little more stable, but then again bear sterns and leman brothers were also publicly traded. I have a CDC account and it's been okay so far. One thing they do that I think really helps them is they have 30/60/90 day lock up periods that would help avoid a bank run. Once again because people keep overlooking this: Quote "please put your crypto on a ledger or trezor or where ever. Just keep the bulk off of exchanges. Learn from my mistake." Easily can double or triple your money with this play. 3d Systems Corporation Stratasys Proto Labs All of these are 3d printing companies and are the leading the way in the industry. Not sure which one is going to take the lead in the pack at this point so I am invested in all of them and when it becomes more clear I will shift my funds to that stock. Kush Bottles GW Pharmaceuticals Aurora Cannabis Basically the same thing as the 3d printing companies. All of these companies are the leaders in the marijuana industry and I want to cash in. Aurora is my favorite out of these 3. LG Display (LPL) - Make sure you use the symbol LPL as there are a few different LG stocks to buy. The reason I suggest buying LG display is they are leading the way in OLED folding displays and they licensed out the technology to Apple. --- You should also seriously consider opening Poloniex account and trading CC's, I think that is where the most money will be made.
