edjr 6,898 Posted June 12, 2017 Taking an ice skate off and trying to stab someone. That record belongs solely to Happy Gilmore Taking a mans shoe off and beating him with it in the stands. Peter McNab
vuduchile 1,947 Posted June 12, 2017 In his defense, he probably didn't realize he was supposed to pay for them. He absolutely knew they weren't his to take. Nike Athletes have a set limit on the amount of mchdse they can get from a Niketwown on a single visit. This was toward the end of his career and his limit was $500.00. He had almost twice that when he came upstairs to sign for it. Anyway, it all has to be rung up and accounted for and he has to sign for it. When my assistant told him she couldn't approve it, he freaked and she called me. I let him take all the stuff he'd picked out for himself (still way over the limit) and told him we would place an order for all the women's mchdse and have it shipped to him from corporate. That wasn't good enough for him. He took what I gave him, stormed out the front door, then came back in and grabbed the soccer sandals that an associate on the first floor had pulled for him earlier. It was all captured on camera.
Djgb13 2,339 Posted June 12, 2017 Taking a mans shoe off and beating him with it in the stands. Peter McNab Lol while that is pretty awesome it isn't one of the players taking off their skate and trying to stab someone with it. Regardless, that is pretty epic and didn't know about this until you posted it

parrot 789 Posted June 13, 2017 Climbing takes a lot of athleticism, but many wouldn't call it a sport. If you do, Alex Honnold's recent free solo of El Capitan is arguably the greatest athletic accomplishment ever, and won't be repeated. You don't think anyone else will try it now that he has proven it can be done, pent? Don't know much about climbing though I did read up on this a little bit. It seems like the hardest part about free soloing El Cap would be lugging your 50 lb balls up it. Is Honnold the best/strongest/most technical climber, or is he just willing to try things that others aren't?
