wiffleball 4,790 Posted May 9, 2018 If it was such a great deal for America and legitimate, why did Obama do it outside of Congress? Well for one thing, if you'll recall, the Republicans wouldn't pass a bill in favor of puppies as long as Obama was in the White House. Remember?
Filthy Fernadez 2,696 Posted May 9, 2018 Well for one thing, if you'll recall, the Republicans wouldn't pass a bill in favor of puppies as long as Obama was in the White House. Remember? So Republicans voted against everything Obama wanted? Why were there Democrats against the deal (including Shumer)?
Sho Nuff 720 Posted May 9, 2018 everything that needed to be said about this deal, was said before it was even signed The fact that Obama didn't take it to congress, cause he knew it wouldn't pass said it all Yes...says the Republican Congress was an obstructionist crapfest and still is. Sho Nuff 720 Posted May 9, 2018 Remember when Democrats opposed the Iran deal? Rock members. Bottom line is the House rejected this deal 269-162 [25 Dems and 244 Reps voting no], in a purely symbolic vote, because Fuhrer Obama knew he had zero chance of Senate approval for an actual binding deal aka treaty. 62% of the House rejected Obama's deal. The American people rejected Obama's deal by electing Trump. Time for the losers to suck it up and take their loss. They are on the wrong side of history. Polls show people dont support getting out of this deal. Claiming Trump was elected because of this is your usual ignorance. Asfor the wrong side of history...laughable from supporters of Trump. tubby_mcgee 701 Posted May 9, 2018 CNN is supporting Iran's burning of the American flag. Well, in the least their verbiage on their site indicates that Iran is certainly justified in doing so.This is what I refer to, when I say the lefts (CNN, etc) bitter hatred toward Trump is so great, that they have sided with terrorists. And yes, Iran is full of terrorists and would like nothing more than the blow the U.S to smithereens. Yet....yet....CNN's propaganda glorifies their burning of our Flag. Focked up sh#t. TimmySmith 2,782 Posted May 9, 2018 Whats your wager trump has even read the deal? I got my money on no. Same with Obama. We know Trump has been advised on it and the President has sole power to end our involvement in it whenever he wants. Should we be involved in a deal with Iran? Yes. Involved in this deal? Think of it this way, you make a deal with your son (who just happens to lie about everything) that he can have as many cookies in the jar that he wants if he washes his hands. However you cannot inspect his hands, nor can you even ask him if he washed them. Nor can you ask the 3rd party inspector. We went down this road with the UN sanctions on Iraq, when we asked the UN if he had WMD, they said "ummm, we don't know". We said, "well you are supposed to inspect every 6 months", they said, "he kicked us out and we haven't been back in years". The UN caused these wars, IMO. If the US gets the right to inspect Iran, it would be a good deal.

My main concern is that it is bad precedent for Americas word not to count for anything. The United States made a deal, through its head of state. Now it is chronic hunskering. That make me squeamish.
