tanatastic 2,061 Posted July 1, 2018 Cliffs notes?Left leaning Liberals are leaving their side because they dont agree anymore with the direction of the party. They arent saying they are conservative or right leaning now, they just can no longer back the more extreme stances of the left and would rather not identify with them anymore. It makes a lot of sense actually.

tanatastic 2,061 Posted July 1, 2018 Who thinks this kind of mentality could lead to potentially more attention towards a 3rd party candidate? Remember we talked a lot about that in 2016 as people here said it has to start somewhere. With all the extremism going on I feel theres room for at least some more discussion and eyeballs taking a closer look.

This place is a microcosm of America. Bunch of dummies that think their political insight is better than their neighbors. 3rd parties require intelligent thought, a purpose and a method to break that mindset. It's not happening. Not in the near future. If this bored shows anything at all it should prove, without question, that political ideology is no different than religion.....it makes people dumber.

It makes a lot of sense actually. Thats me. On Facebook yesterday I saw some guy yelling about the blue wave coming in November. Trump out in 2020, in prison in 2021. all that garbage. I told him I always considered myself a liberal and a democrat, but am now embarrassed to do so. And that people like him are virtually guaranteeing that trump will win in 2020 and the dems will be slaughtered this November. I am getting lots of hate from the left. But lots of likes too. I honestly cannot support either party anymore. At all. Just cant do it.

There’s no hope, it’s best to just think for yourself and watch them burn the system down.

Open borders is pretty extreme. Trying to renegotiate horrible trade deals isn't.

Trying to renegotiate horrible trade deals isn't.Ill try to answer. Honestly, policy wise, the right isnt extreme these days. You have done a good job shutting up the wacko fundy nuts. The left is more so. Its more of an attitude thing. A pugnacious, all or nothing, we are right they are evil kind of thing. If you disagree, youre not a real American kind of thing. And yes. The other side is just as bad. Both feed off of the hate from the other. Its a chain reaction of hate at this point. Even on the occasions when I agree with the underlying policy of whichever side, I find the nature of the rhetoric repulsive. Both sides.

Baker Boy 1,485 Posted July 2, 2018 Chris Castle @DjChrisCastle I was a delegate for Sanders, when I was awoken to all the corruption, manipulation, and shadiness of the DNC. I lost all faith in the MSM immediately after that. My eyes were opened, I voted for real change and to MAGA. #WalkAway
Baker Boy 1,485 Posted July 2, 2018 Job growth that has lagged behind Obamas last years? Maybe you should turn on different news or quit believing Trump. Obama created minimum wage and government jobs. Trump is creating real jobs with good wages while reducing the number of government jobs. There is a huge difference. Baker Boy 1,485 Posted July 2, 2018 Sure...thats what it is. Oh wait...wage growth is still lagging. Try again. TDS Wages are up 50 cents an hour since the election, I dont know how fast you expect them to rise. Maybe if you had a job you would understand the situation. Truck drivers can get a $5,000 signing bonus to drive for Walmart. Kroger grocery baggers can get tuition reimbursed. New-mother baristas at Starbucks now can get their full salary for up to six weeks of maternity leave. And traveling Goldman Sachs bankers can ship their breast milk home for free. These new job perks are just a few signs of the hot and competitive labor market. The U.S. unemployment rate is the lowest its been in decades. That means companies from restaurants to engineering firms are being forced to find new and creative ways to lure workers Meh Thanks...wont likely be in much. Honestly havent missed the place. TimmySmith 2,782 Posted July 2, 2018 Sure he is Would your ilk really have gone this insane over Rubio? Doubtful. The sad thing about the left's meltdown, is Trump is carrying over Obama policies that worked (immigration), getting rid of those that didn't (healthcare), and generally being a centrist candidate on policy. Yes, he tweets alot, and you guys can't handle it. Yes, he flipflops when something obviously isn't working, and he doesn't admit it, and you guys can't handle it. Yes, he is not a globalist, kowtowing to foreign governments, and you guys can't handle it. I defy any lib to show me a single example of hardline right wing policy created by him.
