I'm arguing that they are WASTING money.  That's what I wrote.  Do you not understand what that means?  They're spending 800k per unit to address homeless, and it's taking years for that to even happen:

Meanwhile, word has gotten out that LA is doing this crap so MORE homeless are heading there looking for a handout.  It's not addressing the problem.  Bring down the cost of housing and work on creating more jobs so the unemployed homeless can earn some money to pay for housing.  That's how you address it.   Not WASTING money on apartments at 800k.  Did we not learn anything from the projects we put black people in 50 years ago?

I don’t disagree with you on a lot of this. But I would point out that if Trump goes through with his tariffs that will create less jobs and raise the cost of housing, exactly the opposite of the solutions you are recommending.

I seriously think your average liberal thinks proposed bills in Congress are defined solely by their title and that there isn't mega underlying spending on 50 other BS items included. 

It's the same thing with these "simple" tax proposals, 90% of the money never gets to where they claim it's going. And it NEVER solves the problems in liberal states. Liberals NEED those problems to remain in place so they have something to point to and say they'll fix with more of your money. .

At some point I have to believe that they harm to such an extent that they see their congressional power start to wane.  I anticipate it will take that threat for them to stop harming people......nothing else matters to Democrats, power above anything else. For the time being, there is no doubt the liberals will take any amount of pain dished out  to them by their elected officials, and say they love it, as long as Trump is in the picture. I call that a perk in my conservative existence. I would vote for Trump a third time if I could.

It adds up.  If you consider that in Democrat-dominated localities AA's suffer the most, but then Democrats pretend is because of others....not them...yet Democrats have held power in these locations for decades.  So they sell their harm as being caused by others, and voters eat it up.

July 1 they are also asking state workers to return to the office anywhere from 2 days to 5 days week. Along with this gas tax, dealing with childcare, and other expenses, a lot of families will not be doing well. 

State workers already make poverty level wages unless they are in executive or managerial positions. 

They say it's about the "EPA" and stuff and yet are asking thousands of people to begin commuting with not everyone having an electric car. Commute congestion with the freeway construction ALL around Sacramento is going to be a nightmare.
