Anti-racist baby.  It animated, and it’s where the black babies tell the white babies how racist they are.  Not a comedy.

Hopefully there will be more nudity involving living characters.  It's a bit awkward staring at dead t1ts while sitting next to the wife.  :ninja:

Some show on the samurai in feudal age Japan has appeared recently when I log onto Netflix. Can't recall the name off the top of my head.  It looks like its a docuseries but I'm not certain.

Anybody know which show I'm referring to?  Anybody watch it?

Charles Dance from GOT narrates. It’s a Turkish production, very well acted.

Yeah, that's the show.  So it is a documentary then?

yeah... and I like many similar to this (ie: barbarians, misc war, huns, etc).  It might have been our mood at the time :dunno:

Not on Netflix (Hulu), but did anyone watch The Terror, AMC mini series? It’s about an English sailing expedition to find the Arctic passage. They get trapped in the ice for years.

It was terrific.

Anyone watch Jerry McGuire? It’s about a successful guy who falls in love with a single mom and they move into his place.  👍👍

May have been mentioned before, apologies if so.

But Queen of the South is da shiit - a must see!

It's on HBO Max rather than Netflix, but my wife and I are really enjoying Doom Patrol.  I guess it's a couple years old. Partway thru S1 (of at least 2).

Feels like a more mature Umbrella Academy.  Funny and dark.

I’ve been watching “Start Up” on Netflix and highly recommend.

There’s also a movie called “The Whole Truth” that’s really good.

Both are trending so should be on the home page.

We started "Start Up" last night.  First couple of episodes were decent.  We'll stick with it.

I didn't read through this whole thread but the past 16 months during Covid-19 I have Netflixed my face off.  I will rank my favorite Netflix Series as follows:

1.  Breaking Bad

2.  Ozark

3.  Stranger Things

4. Start Up

5.  DARK

6.  Mindhunter

7.  NARCOS

I kinda liked:  Travelers, The Umbrella Academy, Altered Carbon

About to start either Lupin or Better Call Saul

Try Black Mirror...

Good show.

Still find it amazing that the first episode has a dude focking a pig.  You'd think they'd go with something a bit less shocking to avoid turning off some viewers from the get go.

We have watch so many shows/movies that I generally cannot remember which platform they are on.

I also would like a more centralized hub to alert us when a new season of something begins. It is currently very scattered and hard to track

Good point.  The show creators might be getting a head start on securing the Beastiality demographic prior to them officially joining the alphabet people.  Only issue is "B" is already taken by bisexuals.

Not Netflix, but the wife and I have been watching "The Leftovers" on HBO Max.  3 seasons  and we're partway thru S2.  From 2014 - 2017.

2% of earth's population vanish instantaneously in a Rapture like event.  Show is about the folks dealing with the aftermath.  Crazy cults, etc.

Good show with some naughty bits tossed in here and there.  Never would've expected to see Liv Tyler's bush - need to wait until S2, though.  Nicely manicured btw. 👍

Bad Blood. Based on a true story about the mob in Montreal. Some over acting, but a solid mob show.

I mentioned this show before, it's not out of the park awesome but I enjoyed it so far, two seasons in... It's called 'Bad Blood' about the Mafia in Canada, stars the dude who played Tig on SoA.

I’m 4 episodes in to Midnight Mass on Netflix and really enjoying it. It’s a 7-episode drama / horror miniseries that reminds me a little of Salem’s Lot with a strong Catholic angle.

I finished season 1 of Squid Game last night.  It's a very strange series but I really enjoyed it.  It's definitely not for everyone.
