The "official"  2A rally is over.  Crowds are dissipating.   Estimates of  10-15k people and thousands and thousands guns. People from all walks of life.  Gays for guns, trans for guns, blacks for guns...all collected together and NO skirmishes. Nothing!  Alex Jones is still yelling on his speaker and snarling traffic though.

NBC reporter posts video saying 2A supporters were doing a “scary chant” saying “we will not comply”. Turns out, they were reciting the pledge of allegiance as it can be heard in his video. If this doesn’t make you believe journalists are biased and lie through their teeth then I’ve got nothing

Thank God no Newbies showed up to the rally and everyone ended up being safe.

This was a huuuuge day for America for several reasons:

1. No violence at a rally with 10k people and thousands of guns. Shows that the violence we see rallies/protests around the country is because of antifa/resistance/racists/bat shite crazy lefties, not 2A supporters

2. Good chance VA flips back to red. Gov Blackface and the Dems overplayed their hand

3. Communist lefties put on notice. If you try to take away constitutional rights then Americans will stand up for themselves. And if you want to take it to the next level just remember every single person there has a gun that they would be willing to use to protect themselves from tyrannical leaders, which was the original purpose of 2A, ironic

4. MSM and Dem leaders once again look foolish trying to paint anyone who disagrees with them as violent white Nazis. For 2 weeks we have seen nothing but fear mongering articles about how crazy gun nut terrorists were coming to start a war. Muh state of emergency. Fock every last one of them, now they will have to go to Chicago if they want to report on gun violence.

Reporters on location Monday morning began seeing symbols, flags and patches connected to various extremist and militia groups. One member of the Proud Boys was seen wearing a patch reading “RWDS” — shorthand for “Right-Wing Death Squad” that is often used in reference to a fascist Chilean dictator who murdered, tortured or detained some 40,000 of his own people.

CNN mostly ignored the story, burying it pretty deep on their website

My thing is there is NO journalistic integrity AT ALL. For both sides imo. I really wish they could be fined immensely for inaccurately portraying things. There’s no facts anymore. Just spin spin spin. It’s made watching the news unbearable.

This thing lacked style.  This could be so much bigger and better.  Its disorganized and lame.  You gotta interact.  There should be booth activities like showing and demonstrating how to clean a gun performed by various retired members of the service.  Maybe a booth where anyone can try cleaning a gun on their own.  A booth on using a scope correctly and diffrent styles of scopes.  Turn it into a sort of scout troop offering gun tips and advice.  Offer commemorative pins or necklaces for sale or just give them away to remember the event.  Organize overnight camping trips focused around gun safety in the woods.  Communication is key.  Hand out leaflets with maps telling people where to go and what to do.  Publicize it by posting videos of activities on the internet.

From all the photos there’s people of ALL walks of life. Black, white, Indian, asian, Hispanic, gay, trans, etc. ALL of them had a gun and ALL of them were against the VA gov. Makes me happy that everyone came together like that with no violence. Just brothers and sisters in arms.

I'd like to think this little dose of reality would serve as a lesson the anti-gun nuts in this country. Guns aren't the problem, people are. 

Unfortunately, I don't have any faith in their ability to distinguish between reality and rhetoric. They're too far gone to turn back now. They will find some governmental entity to credit for the lack of violence and claim that bloodshed was somehow, miraculously avoided despite all of the firearms involved. Never giving credit to the law abiding 2A supporters for being law abiding 2A supporters who never intended to commit any violence whatsoever.

They are also complaining about them doing it on MLK saying that’s racist. Especially since MLK was killed by a gun. They can’t comprehend that it’s Lobby day as well.

I beg to differ. I think there is a substantial number of anti-gun nuts who are ignorant of all things firearms related. They hear the left/media saying we have a "gun violence" problem in this country and they don't take the time to research the issue. They simply believe what they are told. They dont educate themselves to the fact that we have 300 + million guns in private ownership in this country. Or that less than .001 % of those guns are ever used in a violent crime. Or that of those .001%, an overwhelming % of those are illegally possessed and that 100% of them are illegally used. 

So when they hear the "news" media sensationalize the rare mass shooting rather than report on the daily/weekly drug/gang related shootings in a few shithoIes around the country, they think AR's are the scourge of the country and must be banned. Instead of realizing that a certain demographic is responsible for 99% of the gun related homicide and their weapon of choice is overwhelmingly the illegally possessed handgun. 

Nope, it must be the NRA and law abiding gun owners standing in the way of "progress" by refusing to relinquish their 2A rights.

I like her background and found it inspirational that a bartender can get elected to Congress taking out an insider crook in a primary. I still do to an extent. In the first two or three days or weeks that I'd heard about her, I was really prepared to like her. i could have been a fan and the first minute of the video speaks well to me since I come from such a background myself.
