This is a focking message board.  It's a courtesy to post backing data/links/etc.....Most of us will do that as a courtesy.  There are certain people who I've come to the conclusion that it's not worth doing for various reasons.  For example, I posted a link to a PBS documentary about creationism last week for Mookz, who never watched it.  I won't be wasting my time doing that for him again.  You and Timmy aren't worth the time.  So I gave you the premise.  If you're curious you can do your own research.

You're missing the point. Due to the increase in the test cycle rates (to a limit that Dr, Fauci said are worthless), they are giving a lot of false positives. So all the idiots who caught a cold or had allergies get tested and test positive.

I understand that but I was thinking more about the people who really had COVID.  I had it and while my symptoms were cold-like it was obvious that I didn’t have the common cold.

So what killed the ~350k extra people this year?  Yes, I’m sure there was some increase in suicides, overdoses, etc, but things like that would have had to triple or so for it to make a dent in comparison to covid deaths.    Not to mention that many of those were likely due to the impact of covid as a whole, not lockdowns specifically.

Sticking to covid, since people are apparently afraid to answer a simple yes or no question, all I’m trying to understand is your guys’ perspective about whether you think “false positives” actually had covid.  If the answer is no, then that would make the IFR higher, since that estimate is already including people who were never tested, but it’d be removing some of the “confirmed” cases. It would also mean we’re further from herd immunity than many think.

My understanding of the PCR debate is that the “false positives” did actually have the virus (so my answer to that question would be yes), just maybe not enough of it to get sick or spread it.  But that is not the case for people that die from it, other than the 8-9% of “with covid” deaths that the CDC states do not have covid as the underlying cause.  So yes, “cases” are likely overstated, but deaths are not overstated by more than 8-9%.

Typical deaths per year in some of the categories that people think are being incorrectly labeled covid:

All car accidents: 39k (motorcycles about 5k of that)

Murders: 16k

Drownings: 3.5k

 

The CDC readily admits that about 30k of the “with covid” deaths in 2020 were not actually caused by covid (8.6% of 350k).    That easily explains the few examples you guys keep bringing up, since as an example it would take all of those 3 causes “Increasing” by 50% with that entire increase being labeled covid to get to 30k (if we assume the final numbers for those causes ends up similar, since If they are being incorrectly labeled covid then they should be decreasing significantly).  Although of course it is likely that motor vehicle deaths decrease this year due to less people on the roads.

For the extra payments are only for Medicare patients, so that rules out all of those murders and motorcycle accidents of people under 65 being labeled covid for financial gain.

There are thousands of hospitals in the country.   Is there any proof?  Surely by now we’d have seen some disgruntled former employees or something admitting that they did it right?

It’s really hard to trust the COVID tests. There have been plenty of false negatives and false positives. My sister-in-law and her uncle both got tested multiple times and it came back negative even though they felt terrible and were exposed. Her uncle’s fourth test finally came back positive even thought that’s when he was feeling better. It’s all so strange.

Uh, if deaths in some of those categories are not zero (and in several cases not even down), then they’re not all being recorded as covid...  

And even if they were, that still doesn’t explain why there have been ~350k more deaths in total.

At least Strike I believe previously admitted that there were a lot of extra deaths but didn’t know why (he just got mad at me because I made a sarcastic comment about them all being suicides). But some of you seem to be denying that a lot more deaths happened in 2020 than there should have been - that is one stat that really can’t even be accused of being faked.

I now know 3 close acquaintances (one being a family member) who have lost their businesses due to the lockdowns. I know zero people that have died of this thing.  My condolences to those that have lost folks due to this.
