Question.  If masks "do nothing" as you suggest, why are most healthcare facilities requiring masking now?  RSV, flu, and covid are raging and hospitals are overflowing, but the people who run hospitals are too dumb to know that masks are useless?  Are they "virtue signaling"?  Like almost every facility in the country?

Can you explain how that makes sense to you?

specifically anything but a properly affixed mask will have a net negative on your health.  putting a tshirt over your face does nothing, one that you wear for weeks at a time, putting a flimsy walmart paper mask does nothing

now healthcare providers face a lot of different things, and if they want to provide me a proper mask that actually can prevent stuff at a small rate thats on them

So why are visitors required to mask up then if their masks are so ineffective.  You really should share your expertise with every hospital in the country.  They're all stupid apparently since masking is virtually useless and according to you harmful.

You could make a ton of money awaring all these healthcare facilities across the country that masking up is basically useless.

It's just kind of odd that knowing about what impacts health is their job, right, and your job is what exactly?  Are you some kind of highly credentialed and decorated mask efficacy expert?  I'm sure you must be.

Do you also advise companies who make computer chips that wearing static free garb is basically useless?  I'm sure they'd love you to tell them how they all do it wrong.

Yeah.  @Strike’s post was fine until he got to the point about complaining about masks.  The guy quoted said he’s more worried about flu than Covid.  Looking at the flu stats in 2020/2021, it’s possible, maybe likely that masks did more to prevent flu than Covid.

my dad taught me to be prepared and have my entire life. But thanks for looking out 

just to be clear. I never have less than 250 gallons of water, 100 lbs of rice 100 of beans and 4 freezers full of food. Not to mention probably 500 meals of freeze dried and canned goods. 

I shop at costco once a year.  I usually even rent a van to do it and I spend 4-5 grand on stocking up.  I’ve been doing it since I bought my first house. 
 

as far as meds I get as many as I can. But I never take them. I just store them in a chest I have. Never know. Costs me nothing to do this
