So, I get what you are saying, but "innocent until proven guilty" is not what we are talking about here. There were 4 cops that were fired with cause. Only thing needed by the department was that video showing that they did not follow protocol. Technically, they could be rehired after all of this, so don't weep for them.

Now the Chauvin guy, he can and should be charged once they have enough evidence for an arrest. Doesn't mean he is guilty. Just means that they have enough to charge him with a crime. The FBI felt that they had enough at that point to charge him with at least manslaughter (murder 3). He is still innocent until proven guilty.

There are definitely white people involved in the rioting and looting.  The one commonality isn't race, it's political affiliation.  I'm willing to grant that only 60% of those involved are black, but I'm willing to bet that 95% of all involved are Democrats.

 

p.s.  You're uncle is right.  Case in point: Parkland.  The officer who was fired for not going into the building during the shooting was not only given back pay, but his job back because his rights were violated.  Imaging the mess if something like that happens here.

I would be inclined to agree with you on the voting issue.  I also am not naive to believe there aren't some white (or any other race), republican's aren't taking advantage of the situation.  There are criminals on both sides of the aisle.  I wouldn't be surprised if as many as 10% are Republican.  Still, that's a very huge disparity.
