Your $8T added to the debt is a middle-school level analysis.  Here are the debts in recent years:

2008 $10,025 68% Bank bailout and QE
2009 $11,910 82% Bailout cost $250B ARRA added $242B
2010 $13,562 90% ARRA added $400B, payroll tax holiday ended, Obama Tax cuts, ACA, Simpson-Bowles
2011 $14,790 95% Debt crisis, recession and tax cuts reduced revenue
2012 $16,066 99% Fiscal cliff
2013 $16,738 99% Sequester, government shutdown
2014 $17,824 101% QE ended, debt ceiling crisis
2015 $18,151 100% Oil prices fell
2016 $19,573 105% Brexit
2017 $20,245 104% Congress raised the debt ceiling
2018 $21,516 105% Trump tax cuts
2019 $22,719 107% Trade wars
2020 $27,748 129% COVID-19 and 2020 recession
2021 $29,617 124% COVID-19 and American Rescue Plan Act
2022 $30,824 123% Inflation Reduction Act and student loan forgiveness

https://www.thebalancemoney.com/national-debt-by-year-compared-to-gdp-and-major-events-3306287

You'll note a few things.  One, Saint Barack doubled the debt in his 8 divisive years.  More importantly, note that Trump kept a slow increase of ~ $1T per year for the first 3 years, then upped it $5T in 2020 because of Covid.  Instead of reverting back to pre-Covid growth, Biden keeps growing off of that one-time emergency, spending like a drunken sailor for stuff like the Inflation Increase Act and the American More Free Stuff plan.  The past two years should have been ~$5T less, so based on "normal" (already too high) growth, Biden has increased debt about $10T in his 2 years.

I know this nuance is lost on you, but facts not feelz, boyo.

Obama the Great saved the country from the Great Recession.  And divisive, oh yea he's black, I forgot cultist think that's divisive since they're the party of racist.  Note the debt increase during his last term '13 - '16 = $3.5T (less than $1T a year and getting less each year).  And $9.5T altogether in his 8 amazing years where he saved the country and brought unemployment down from double digits to below 5%.  GOAT president.

The Orange Moron on the other hand INCREASED the non-covid debt from the run rate of Obama the Great's last four years.  Trump added an average of $1.1T his first three horrible years, and then in 2020 went absolutely HAM with an additional $5T.  Obama the Great's protégé, yet another dem called in to save the country from the devastation left by a Republican, added $1.9T in 21 and $1.2M in 22.  So not sure where you're getting your $10T in 2 years (LOL) but the debt was $27.7M after the horror of Trump and $30.8T now that we're once again growing the economy, have MASSIVE wage growth, NO covid lockdowns, etc.  By my maths that an addition of $3.1M in Biden's first two years.  Quite the bigly reduction from Trump and a reduced run rate.  23 will see even less of an increase.

All three last Republican presidents have left the country in shambles for their democratic successor to fix.  Just look at the state of the country when Joe took over.  NO vaccine distribution plan.  Most of the country locked down. -3%GDP.  6.7% unemployment.  Gas stupid low because Trump crushed demand.  US laughed at openly by world leaders.  Putin enabled to do as he pleased since Trump took his word over US intelligence agencies.  NATO in tatters thanks to Trump.  Perhaps the lowest point of the country since the Great Recession that Obama saved us from.

And now?  On the road to lower inflation, bigly GDP growth, more people working than ever before. Vaccines that made covid the common cold (well anti-vaxxers still dropping dead from covid quite bigly, but that's on them), respect throughout the world and a unified NATO led by the US.  Went from bending over for Russia to making them the US's .

Let's all take a moment this day after Christmas and thank Ol' Joe from saving us all from the absolute chit show Trump left us in.

THANKS JOE!

You give Trump an excuse for increasing spending due to COVID. You call Obama divisive and give him no excuse for the spending required to bail out the nation after the housing and bank crash of 2008. This much spin is making me dizzy, but I guess when the actual numbers look bad for the orange man, his sycophants immediately switch to the spin cycle.

?  Trump left a dumpster file for Trump.  Negative GDP, bigly unemployment, no vaccine rollout plan.

And Biden has spent a TON less than Trump.

What alternative reality of you folks living in?  Do y'all forget just how bad it was in January 21?  Biden has spent far les in 22 and will spend less in 23 and 24.

I guess I forgot how bad it was in January 2021.   I remember optimism around the vaccine becoming more widely available, almost everything being opened back up, and having some extra spending money from the first stimulus and child tax credit.  I do agree Biden probably helped get the vaccine distributed faster than Trump would have, but that’s a pretty small piece of the spending pie.

January 21 the country was in as bad a shape as it was when GWB handed the reigns to Obama the Great.  But at least GWB wasn't a coward who slunk away from the inauguration like a lil , but Trump sure did.  The country wasn't close to being open and Trump had ZERO plan for the vaccine rollout.  Remember him going into hiding like a lil after he got curbstomped in November?  He stopped doing anything other than cry about the fake stolen election.  If, god forbid, Trump had been re-elected, the country would STILL be in disastrous shape with MILLIONS more dead.  I shudder to even think about it.

Lol.

I actually think less people would be dead if Trump won.  About the same amount of Dems/independents would have gotten vaccinated, but more Republicans would have.  Trump remains a fan of the vaccine remember.

Now that we've debunked @Raven Fan's asinine assertion about the debt, let's move on to the even dumber one that says sticking vaccines on Amazon trucks to Walgreens is more difficult than developing and approving the first ever mRNA vaccines in record time.  I don't even have the words.  :(

Fauci tried to make a vaccine but he couldn’t seem to figure it out fast enough. So Trump beat him up and shoved him into a locker. The Donald then drank 45 diet cokes in a row and used that energy to break down the door to evil Dr. Fauci’s secret lab and single-handedly invent mRNA vaccines that saved the planet.

The End.

Yeah the real narrative should be "Presidents raise debt levels and spending when necessary." But that doesn't fit the whole "One side bad, one side good," narrative people like to employ.

If trump forced the jab conservatives would still be like fock off. And Dems would too.

Dems were always more likely to get vaccinated, I don’t think who was President would have changed their uptake much, unless maybe the media was writing nonstop articles about how it would kill you.

Yes, if Trump mandated it conservatives would have still said fock off.  But I think if he had won and continued to speak highly of it, more conservatives would have taken it willingly.   Although you could maybe argue the mandates resulted in more people getting vaccinated that otherwise wouldn’t have than if Trump had won (not arguing in favor of the mandates, just making a statement).

Ukraine will go down as one of Biden's big wins.  If you're pro-U.S.A., I don't see how you can't see this is a huge win for us.  We're literally destroying the 3rd largest military in the world for pennies on the dollar while not losing a single American.

BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Bro your feelz are oozing through the screan?  It took Biden a year to defeat Covid based on the bigly ruin your orange master left for him to clean up.

FACT:  Trump increased the debt a very bigly $8T.

FACT:  Trump INCREASED the debt run rate vs Obama the Great's last 4 years (you know after he had saved the country)

FACT:  Biden has increased the debt $3T in 2 year, with one of those years being a recovery from your Orange Master's ineptitude

FEELZ:  Biden has increased the debt $10T

FACT:  You're a moron cultist who has ZERO business arguing with the educated and successful likes of me

Now go grab your toolbelt or put your seat belt on and punch the clock and get back to work.  Me owning the morons around here is beginning to feel like something I should get paid for.  Although none of you could afford my billable rate.

Your Orange Master had ZERO to do with the development of the vaccine other than remove all regulations which is what he wants to do anyway.  Let companies produce as they want with ZERO government interference cause that always works out so well.

What your Orange Master did have a hand in was organizing the vaccine rollout.  Remember when he promised 20M shots and delivered 1M?  Remember when he disbanded the pandemic response team?  Remember when states had to fight each other and buy PPE on the black market because the Orange Moron had zero plan how to help?

Also remember that within just a short 5 beautiful months of turning the country around everyone who wanted a jab could get one?  Had the country been dumb enough to re-elect the Orange Moron, and this site is proof there's tons of idiots in this country, 21 and 22 would have looked exactly like 20.  Thankfully Obama the Great's protégé was there to put the country back together after the Orange Moron broke it apart.

THANKS JOE!

So in order to protect himself from his own people, because they WILL turn on him and eat him alive, he has to be moronic in his policies....but that hurts people....and so he cannot possibly hope to be re-elected.

If he were to stop it with the stupid policies and go back to just a few of the ones he unwound, he likely could get re-elected.

You mean the policies that added $8T to the debt?  That found him entering office with 4.8% unemployment and leaving with 6.7%?  That resulted in never hitting 3% GDP for a year or 4% for even a single quarter?  Policies that almost fractured NATO?  Policies that led him to take Putin's word over US intelligence agencies?  Policies that led to the largest trade deficit in history?  Policies that led to negative 3.2% GDP is his last godawful year?

Bro I think you're thinking of Obama the Great's years.  You know when he saved the country and world from a second depression.
