It was a stupid question after all.   I love the fact that he gives the media nothing.    It's a dog and pony show anyway.     He clearly only does these things because he has to.   If the NFL didn't require it - do you think he'd ever go near that podium?     Why is he required to pretend like he's happy to be there?

All coaches are forced to do it. Which one is the biggest douche about it?

This. I don’t blame any of these guys for giving them nothing. The questions are usually moronic anyway. There’s almost never a press conference where I felt like I gained anything from watching it

I don't know because I don't watch them.  The few I've seen were a complete waste of time...I don't blame Belichick for not giving a fock about them either.

answering a question about new years resolutions, would really give the whole playbook away.

His girlfriend has a nice rack.    Doesn't have anything to do with the topic, thought I'd just throw that out there.   But he's definitely not "miserable" when he's playing with those puppies.    Although knowing Belichick, he probably only plays with them in the off-season.    "No days off" during the season. . .

Wish my concern was the HC being a dik to dikky reporters. I’ll fill this under “don’t know what you got till it’s gone”. The media didn’t like Parcells and especially Coughlin either. Good times, better days.

I'll trade Vic Fangio for him.

I’ll trade Joe Judge for Fangio. Even though  I am probably foolishly holding out hope for Judge. Elway did Fangio no favors giving him Teddy and Lock as Qb’s. Both terrible.

Wait...Bill Belichick gave a curt response to a lame-ass question from a reporter after a bad loss to a division rival??? GTFO!!!! :o

A good solid backhand would've been better.

Not a NE fan but I always respect him a little more when he does that stuff.

That would have been a good one though.

The media seems to think this means unc is heading to an upper tier, but belichick is pretty washed.  Everyone seems to see that but the media.

I don't know... I seem to think this might be a perfect job for Belichick.  He calls ALL the shots, money isn't an issue, and he has no one telling him who he can and can not recruit.  I think he might do really well there.

Did you see they're hiring Mike Lombardi to be "general manager"

I never heard of a university having a general manager.  They're going full professional with Lombardi handling paying the players and belichick doing the recruiting/coaching I guess.

My thing is the guy is 72 with a 24 year old girlfriend.  I doubt he'll be able to handle all of that effectively at his age.

You could be right.  Will definitely be interesting to see how it pans out.

He's setting up the groundworks for something legendary in college sports.

Belichick is awesome.
