Does it matter? If they’re still willing to fight and Russia is still occupying their territory, I don’t how it matters to us. Tragic, yes, but they were invaded

At any rate, as I understand, their casualties have also been significant, maybe 2/3rds of the Russian casualties from many estimates

What a shame. Ukraine, the human trafficking capital of the world could have been wiped clean and the US could have used the money they spent to lockdown the southern border here, but no, democrats only want to support wars in foreign countries at the expense of the American people.

I feel like it’s time to regroup on all things Ukraine.  Here’s the rub.  Putin is the bad guy and Russia is the aggressor.  Let’s get that out there.  However Ukraine and Zelensky aren’t to far off the bad actors tree themselves.  For as much as Liberals call anyone they disagree with “Nazis”, they sure do love them some Ukraine.  

1.  I’m for public and financial support for Ukraine.  However we, the U.S. are much further away from this conflict than Europe.  Let them foot most of the bill and we match some of it.  

2.  I trust Zelensky None.  He is a used car salesman.  I’m 99.9 % sure he’s getting uber rich off this war. 

3. It is perfectly acceptable as an American citizen to look at the lack of control we have on our own borders but throw Billions to protect another's.  Not only is it acceptable it’s logical to ask that question.

Guys like Tim are goofy.  Nows the time to talk peace and come to an agreement.   Why couldn't America try harder in administrating a peace negotiation as it was ramping up?  Oh thats right, because many in politics here welcome war.

This is all so we can occupy Ukraine if Russia is defeated. That's why Russia will NOT walk away. 

Who's going to rebuild Ukraine, us. Whether they know it or not will be the occupiers. AND RUSSIA KNOWS THAT. 

That's why we're invested so heavily.

If nothing else, it's great to see the US is wasting money on Ukraine that could be going to the homeless and/or needy and border security in this country because we get to watch Ukraine, the capital of human trafficking (aka slavery) get slowly driven into oblivion rather than they quickly reaching a peace treaty.

Interestingly, before Hitler invaded Russia they badly miscalculated their potential army size... mainly because never considered women. Nearly a million ended up fighting.

I believe his goal was to be in Kiev in a few weeks, Russia lost hundreds of thousands of men, and NATO expanded so I wouldn’t say he has won.

I doubt he counted on the US crossing his redlines over and over again.

He also will end up with some land in Ukraine I’d bet so it’s not an absolute loss either.

Putin is NOT walking away knowing that America will basically occupy Ukraine during a rebuilt which will put American interests on the ground FOREVER. 

He knows what going to happen if he retreats.
