It's quite a predicament. While I'd love to see the Russians invade Sweden, the only way to do so is they'd have to go through Finland, and I like Finland.

The Swedes are the most woke country on Earth. I'm afraid there's simply no turning back from this level of stupidity. They seem determined to turn over their country to somebody. It'll take some outside force to eventually cure them of their leftoidism.

It would go a long way in solving their globalhomo problems. Using that link you provided there are some other statistical breakdowns. Keep in mind that the mass wave of Muslim migration to Europe occurred in 2015.  So look at the rape and murder rates pre- and post- 2015.

Let me clarify again and specifically... this was bad joke in poor taste. I don't actually want the Russians to invade anyone, including the sad-sack Swedes. It's true I don't like Sweden, but Sweden is a democracy. The way Sweden is run should be chosen by the Swedes themselves, not me nor Russia. (Nor the EU, but that's another tangent). Sweden has enough self-inflicted problems to deal with. Sorry for those that took it seriously.

To me this looks like the lengths they go through to ignore the problem and to justify the government's actions, but believe what you want. Maybe they could backdate the data so the old stats reflect the new definition. I suspect the reason they  neglect to do so is that doesn't suit their purposes.

By chance, have they also changed the definition of 'murder?'  I think when you ignore gangland homocide, you can really do magic with statistics. File it under "death with Covid" would be another good way.

No. I have a pretty good grasp of geography. I'm actually one of the few amateur people who could identify all the countries of Africa (or any other continent) on an unmarked map since I taught the geography world maps in Montessori kindergarten for seven years and still have a class of them now. When I said Sweden, I meant Sweden. You know Mooney gets attacked as a kindergarten teacher, which is untrue, meanwhile Utilit doesn't know the full truth about me. So, I get a free pass and that's nice.  

Also, I wasn't talking about their Covid response, which I am aware has been broadly praised. No, I was talking about their immigration policy which is having the effects that I predicted would happen in 2015, something that I'm sure I can prove if I take the time to dig up old threads. I do hope that their government is right and that they can successfully integrate the Muslim immigrants into their country and culture. It's not a social experiment I would wish on anyone to try. It's why we disagree on Orban in Hungary as well, who can see fully well how that has affected the rest of Europe and doesn't want nor need the aggravation. 

As for Muslims, I've been to Malaysia and seen them at their best in that country. As China goes down the tubes and I contemplate getting out of here, some of the best, most developed Muslim countries pay well for teachers doing what I do, should I want to relocate there ... Even though i don't teach Montessori anymore, I still have a full set of these in my house, including USA and China map puzzles because this was my favorite part of the Montessori classroom. All three of my own children learned to put them together before they were three years old as could any kid in the Montessori environment that had an interest and took the puzzle out to play with it. They just watch you play with the educational toy or puzzle and when you do it enough times, they eventually pick it up and learn to do it themselves.

There's too much venom around here. Some things are zero-sum. Like CRT and LGBTQ in schools. To teach that stuff, it requires an entire world outlook, morality, and philosophy surrounding it which is wholly incompatible with people with different beliefs who don't want it taught. The only way to win is the other side to lose.

But like, Swedish immigration policy... I think it's a terrible risk to their society and not worth the aggravation. There's all sorts of risks short term, medium term, long term in case it fails. Let them live their own beliefs and culture in their own country because, other than the Muslim's LGBTQ sanity, rooftop drops aside, otherwise they culture can only bring negative changes and make things worse. But then they say, these people are poor and desperate and need help and we are in a position to offer that help. I can understand that. It's a difference of opinion. I prefer the Hungarian way where you avoid any problems by keeping the Muslims out and keep doing what you're doing.

I don't want Sweden to fail though because I don't actually dislike them nor the Muslims. While I think they're naive and stupid but I want them to succeed, I want to be wrong. If the voters in Malmo, Sweden are willing to overlook hand grenades flying back across Islamic ghettos, disregard for local tolerance and practices, as the price of feeling good about helping desperate people in need, that's on them. Hungary is like "I told you so" and overwhelmingly re-elected Orban to a 4th term. Meanwhile, Sweden is having trouble forming a stable government.
