Bert is the kindest, nicest, most kind person I have ever met. His friends are great too. 

Never met the guy and he bought me dinner at Steve Wynn’s steakhouse for my birthday (his friends chipped in too, which just was the nicest gesture. 

I am humbled by the whole thing. So glad I made the trek. 

I decided to stay an extra night and change my flight and Bert is letting me stay in his room. There is still a chance I’ll have a better story to tell.

Outlaw in Ruidoso is absolutely amazing, one one the most scenic courses I’ve seen. 
 

That being said, she’s an absolute beast. Not long by any stretch, but hard as hell.
