Cottage Cheese

Is it better made in a cottage ? How many here eat it and enjoy it ?

Has to be very specific craving. And super fresh. Preferably with club crackers or Ritz.

I Know it's a slow acting protein and helps people looking to build muscle to eat before bed time. Casein protein in it.

I like it with certain meals— pot. Roast, meatloaf, salisibury steaks.

If I ever knew what made cottage cheese cottage cheese though I am certain that I would never eat it again.

I ate it with a plain burger often when I was on a low carb kick. Like a few others I added pepper to it.

I remember someone tried to sneak cottage cheese in in place of ricotta cheese for lasagna.

 

Yuck. 

 

That's like trying to tell me that I wouldn't be able to tell the difference between Greek yogurt and ice cream.

Once I was out sick from school for a day or two. Like 2nd or 3rd grade. And when I was out they made teams to present something in a sales competition fair. Or whatever they called it. On the day of the fair the teacher put me on a team that only had 2 kids presenting. Their big idea was selling cottage cheese mixed with strawberries. I tried it for the first and last time ever.

 My Mom would make me lasagna every year for my birthday dinner. She would put extra meat and sausage. Four cheeses including cottage and ricotta. Most have never had that but it’s really good. Haven’t had it that way in a long while.

 I know. It’s a running joke within the industry. Looks much more like cottage cheese. Banged a few fatties and preyed there wasn’t a mirror on the ceiling whilst seeing double when the sun comes up.
