Also, Disney has put on hold plans to move 2000k jobs to Florida due to its battle with Desantis. Looks like woke is costing them. They get to stay in high tax, highly regulated California.  Kind of seems like the people who will be hurt are the 2000K people who could've filled those jobs in Florida. The jobs that Disney is not taking there because of DeSantis deciding to pick this fight. Doesn't really make either side look great.

Sean Mooney 1,984 Posted June 17, 2022 I get it if you are HT and Utilit99. You are all in on the culture war. So you have to buy in to whatever is being sold to you by the charlatans on the right. The people who say "Disney is too woke you don't want your kids watching them......Instead watch our new streaming service where kids can be kids and watch Veggie Tales 24/7....only 8 dollars a month." These are the same people who insist that the MSM are keeping the truth from you all while selling their own wares. Those places want a culture war because they can profit off of it. And if you want to buy into it- you have to go all in....HT and Utilit99 are all in. And yes there are dopes on the left who decide they need to go all in on things too. Maybe I'm behind the news. All I heard was that Florida changed the lucrative tax and local government deal Disney had negotiated in the 60s. Uprooting Disney World is something new. They were moving some development jobs there. Here is one of the stories I saw on it. Quote  The Walt Disney Co. is delaying by more than three years the opening of a campus in central Florida to which 2,000 workers were being relocated from Southern California to work in digital technology, finance and product development. Despite being targeted in recent months by Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis and the Florida Legislature, Disney officials said Thursday the delay had nothing to do with tensions with state officials. Instead, more time was needed to build the campus in the Orlando area and the company wanted to give workers additional time to adjust to the transition. The new opening date for the Florida campus will be in 2026. The company's giant theme park resort, Walt Disney World, will be located about 20 miles (32 kilometers) away. “While a growing number of our employees, who will ultimately work at the campus, have already made the move to central Florida, we also want to continue to provide flexibility to those relocating, especially given the anticipated completion date of the campus is now in 2026," Disney said in a statement. “Therefore, where possible, we are aligning the relocation period with the campus completion."

Lots of money for Florida. More jobs. More tax revenue. Now on hold. Disney says it is not because of the Desantis clash. HT says he works for Desantis or some nonsense and he knows everything that is happening and why it is. It's the same source that told him Disney+ lost 3 million subscribers (despite that being false).
