I guess. You pointed it out earlier, this was what was relayed to her(in front of another person), so it doesn't do much to damage her. More likely means the story got a little more dramatic as it made it's way to her.

I'm not saying the President did or didn't do this-just that she was told it and the committee who interviewed over 1000 people, probably heard this story more than once before deciding to put her on the stand. 

While her testimony was compelling, particularly the stuff about the President knowing that people had weapons and wanting them to be allowed in to the rally---I don't understand the need for the extra session. I think it would have been more compelling to have waited and have more eyewitness testimony, especially the driver.
