I watched a few games of and on yesterday and some very bad strikes was called. Also Why does Kirk Gibson sound like Rick Moranis in Ghostbusters calling the game ? He is depressing to listen too.

Waste of time and money.  Just replace the bad umps.

Major League umpires begin at $120,000 annually, and seasoned umpires can earn as much as $350,000. Benefits, travel expenses and daily per diem add to the compensation package.

Yeah, because all the programmers and computer techs don't make anything.  🙄

That's cute that you think what you see on tv is accurate.

Did you ever notice that the box never changes?  I mean, like ever.  It's the exact same box for every single batter.  You don't think that's odd?  The strike zone is from the knees to the chest.  Do you think every single player is the exact same height?  There's a 0% chance those boxes are right more times than the umpires... in general.  There are terrible umpires, they need to go.

Judge should have a different box for sure.

Exactly.

Go to the 47 second mark.  That's a strike because it's at the batters chest.  The box show's that it's a ball.

Go to the 1:31 mark.  That's a ball.  It's below the batter's knee.  Move to the 1:34 mark, it's clear as day that the dot is below the batter's knee.  Hell, the top of the box it at his belt!!

People complain because they see a dot on a box, but the box isn't even right.  Sure, inside/outside, you can complain about those, but the high and low... the umps are right the vast majority of the time.  I stopped watching once I saw that pitch at 1:31.  It's a whine fest.

That one ball to the 3rd baseman who threw home, the catcher missed the tag completely. It was a good call by the ump.

There's a setting for the game that allows either 100% correct calls, or to add realism and allow Angel Hernandez level mistakes.

My local country club brought in some robot caddies.  I tried one and it was amazing...told me the right c1lubs to use..read the greens...it was awesome!!  The only problem was how shiny they were and the glare was distracting.  I mentioned it to the owner...he agreed.

A few weeks later I went again with some friends to show them how cool the robot caddies were.  Turns out they got rid of them.  I asked why and the manager said they had painted them black because of the glare.  After that, 3 of them didnt show up for work and a couple others robbed the pro shop.
