Ron DeSantis sends two planes of illegal immigrants to Martha's Vineyard

Recommended Posts

300,000 unaccompanied minors alone have been let in this country since Biden took control.

Talk about human trafficking. But no, let's prosecute DeSantis for human trafficking by sending 50 people to Martha's Vineyard.

If you focking liberals don't see what's going on in front of your face, weaponizing the DOJ/FBI, then you all should be put to sleep because you are beyond help and simply are a cancer to this society.

They love to play the games. Remember when they called Obama the “deporter in chief”?  That’s because they played a little game in his first term. Before him, anyone apprehended near the border were just brought back and not counted as a deportation. Under Obama they started counting them as deportations, boosting his numbers so he could claim he did all these deportations and it couldn’t be held against him during the campaign, hence the nickname “deporter in chief”.  Now they play games with the asylum process. And libtards run out and grab a link to the asylum act as if that makes a point. Who cares what it says if it’s being twisted and abused? Just nod your heads you morons. They play you and you keep playing.

Does the sheriff of Bexar Country have legal standing to investigate this?  It seems like a Fed issue/jurisdiction.  Goodness knows the Feds remind Arizona of such things, whenever we try to help with the illegal immigration problem. :dunno:

Also added.  Thx.

Though I'll admit, I'm going to sneak in another Dresden Files book before finishing all of these. I mean, who doesn't like Chicago Detective Wizards...

Love the Dresden Files.  I sorta lost track of the series awhile back when I had read all the currently available ones.  Not sure how many new books have come out since then.

Big fan of Butcher's Codex Alera series as well.

whats sad is the liberals do not have a leg to stand on when it comes to this issue.  so they immediately turn into rusty and personally attack everyone is support of this.

Thank you.  Just ordered it to my Kindle along with: Native American History: A History from Beginning to End

Considering how slow I read(mostly at night before bed), I should have reviews for you and RLLD around this time next year.

Just forewarning - Almost all of the L&C expedition people ended up with syphilis because the native americans thought that if their women had sex with the white men that that would somehow transfer some of their "power" to them.   So almost every tribe the L&C expedition encountered offered up their women for the L&C crew to take to pound town as much as they wanted to.   They actually actively encouraged it.   The crew were all young soldiers - so you can imagine how well that offer was received.   And they were gone for over 2 years,  that's a lot of sex with the locals.     Unfortunately it also meant that most of them either went crazy and/or had their dik's fall off later in their lives as the syphilis advanced in them.

Nailed it, of course.

Also... The media is hilarious on this stuff...

The left knows they can tell their followers anything and they'll parrot it. See this thread.

Stuff is hilarious.

So you admit that, to use Desantis’s own words, this was political theater?

I do agree that it’s smart in order to show the democrats’ hypocrisy, but Desantis trying to claim like he’s actually trying to help these people is silly (especially since they weren’t even in Florida, and if there is any smoke to them being deceived about the trip), just call it a stunt like it is.

Yeah, it's much better  for those people to be stuffed into a town and starve to death because no little city in Texas can afford to house, give medical care, and give jobs to four million illegals. Martha's Vineyard got a measly 50 of them, of which there are more help wanted ads there than that, and yet they call in the National Guard to get rid of the filth and send them somewhere else.

You liberals are disgusting.

Why wouldn’t he help the people in his own state then?

Because conservatives didn't vote for open borders and don't call their cities sanctuary cities like the liberal socialist democrats do.

How difficult is that to figure out?

So we agree it was a political stunt, not a generous humanitarian gesture, cool.

Keeping schools closed for political leverage didn’t seem to bother you and the other centrists. You get all weepy for illegals and turn your back on our own kids.  You’re a gem.

No we don't agree in the least. How is leaving 4 million illegals in Texas and other border cities/states humane?

I already answered this in a previous post. I would love to hear your opinion if you lived in a border town. Would you be taking these people into your home and paying for their medical care and giving them shelter and food and all your love? Why would you expect others to do this? Send them to the people who said they are sanctuary cities and have already set it all up for them.

Fentanyl much?

First of all, nice deflection.

Second of all, I’ve said repeatedly we kept schools closed too long.

Third of all, it wasn’t for political reasons.  It was because people were afraid of a deadly virus for either themselves or elderly family members.

Nice deflection.  Common tactic here I see.

I’ll repeat my question.  If Desantis wanted to help, why didn’t he send people that were in his own state? For the additional reason of easing his state’s burden from illegal immigrants.

He's helping a pro conservative out. It's nice to see people work together to alleviate the problems Biden and the liberal socialist democrats have caused at the southern border and in bordering towns and on people's private lands.

Oh really? You’re ignorant then. For instance, the teachers union in LA as part of its demand to reopen schools wanted action on climate change, defunding the police, a wealth tax, Medicare for all, banning charter schools and more. Take your head out of your ass and do some reading and stop with the disinformation.

I hope we see more show up at the island, but I doubt it. I am sure there will be some shielding for the uber wealthy.  Their stance on this is just to have clout with each other, they dont really care about these people. and the media well for them its just about supporting the Democrat party as well as they can

Martha's Vineyard will scramble some F-16s next time any unexpected flights approach their airspace.

I did think it was funny Tucker compared them staying in military barracks on Cape Cod (another wealthy area) to being treated like terrorists. Do we keep terrorists in military barracks?

The people of Martha’s Vineyard were very hospitable to the migrants. Those making claims that residents dumped them or kicked them out are refusing to see the basic facts of the situation. These asylum seekers need to make court appearances. There are no immigration courts at Martha’s Vineyard; there are very few beds for the homeless. So, they are not being kicked out. They were moved to more comfortable accommodations nearby in the short term. Then they are being given transportation to where they need to go so they can further their asylum cases.

There are already systems in place to transport migrants. Most of them do NOT stay in border towns. Abbott and DeSantis could have worked with the existing system AND drawn attention to the problem with Fox News cameras. They didn’t have to screw over asylum seekers in order to “draw attention” to the problem.

In the end, the people in Martha’s Vineyard, Washington, DC, and NYC where Abbot and DeSantis sent migrants, have worked hard to help them, despite having no warning of when or where they were getting dropped off. This attempt to make “liberals” look heartless failed miserably. The only way you could still believe such a thing at this point is to completely ignore reality. That’s why the right-wing Twitter attacks are heavy on memes and light on facts. Also, there are conservatives living in DC, NYC, and Martha’s Vineyard. Some of them also helped these migrants.

If you and your family were rounded up by the National Guard for just being wherever you are, how would that feel?

If you lived in a border town would you and your family be welcoming these illegals with open arms and giving them shelter and paying for their medical bills and providing them food and transportation and jobs?

You’re the one that doesn’t know how to copy and paste apparently.  If it’s not important enough to you to press Ctrl + C, it’s not important to me either.  Especially since you’re deflecting from the topic at hand.
