This stuff is what concerns liberals, meanwhile kids cant read in Baltimore.  And let’s not even talk about math nationwide. How about some priorities?

Gotchya.  So what you're saying is that I'm right and you have no defense for it.

Sure.  I didn't say those things and generally don't know what you are talking about with what you saw leftists saying.

But take the W on the internet today.

Why can’t I be concerned about all of it?

Again? Not sure how many times it needs to be posted or linked and be ignored.

Google book bannings, libraries, Texas.  Go from there, as its not just there. .   I have seen everything from Gender Queer to Harry Potter to Handmaids Tale get challenged and banned/removed from libraries.

The people that say “CRT isn’t being taught in public schools” sure are mad that Florida isn’t allowing a course that teaches CRT into public schools.

Exactly.  Everyone agrees, CRT has no place in the schools.  So why do the jackasses keep trying to put it in or whining  about  keeping it out?  You really can't make up what non-sense they utter.

Doesn’t appear you are. If you were you wouldn’t be mentioning an elective when kids can’t read or do basic math in some of the largest school districts. Priorities.  You don’t have any.

Gender queer depicts images of prepubescent boys sucking each others dongs. What age/grade is that appropriate?

In schools of Manatee County, Florida, every single book is banned following a new policy there.

There are many more examples, but this one just happened this week, and it is a complete ban. Books that were available in schools for decades are all banned until the Republican government goes through all of them and decides which ones they approve of. This is how extreme the GOP has gotten with its censorship.

So, they aren't banning the books at all - just restricting them from being used until they can be reviewed.  Seems appropriate based on what the left has been trying to sneak in.

I mean, it even said "Remove or cover all classroom libraries until all materials can be reviewed" in your own damn link but you've been told to fake outrage so here we are.  Don't read anything, ok?  Just blindly post links and make up a story that does not fit the facts.  it's what you do.

Your articles mention 2 books being banned. Dragons Love Tacos and Sneezy the Snowman. Google search either of those books with the word “banned” yields zero hits. Sounds like crap.

The law has exactly 3 requirements

1. Free of pornography and material prohibited under s. 847.012.

2. Suited to student needs and their ability to comprehend the material presented.

3. Appropriate for the grade level and age group for which the materials are used or made available

Doesn't seem controversial. So I’ll ask you, what grade/age is porn appropriate?

I said right in my post this same thing. I guess you didn’t read it.

Would you be ok with Democrats taking every book out of every school and getting a group of liberals together to decide which books can be let back into the school, and which cannot?

Also, there are literally thousands of books. How long will it take to review them all? Will these kids have to fight over 1 book for the rest of the semester?

It’s truly appalling that anybody could defend this. It’s straight out of Fahrenheit 451.

A group of liberals got together to put the g'dam books in there in the first place.

Of course it's going to take logical and measured people to sort that mess out so by definition that EXCLUDES liberals.

So you are ok with YOUR political party banning every book they don’t like. Got it. You support government censorship. Noted, for any time you ever complain about anybody else doing it.

In your dumb hypothetical, is our top to bottom public education system completely run by conservatives instead of leftists like today? If so then yes I would be ok with that.

Florida is a “red” state that completely sets its own curriculum. Texas does the same. The idea that education is controlled by leftists is completely false.

Liberals are more concerned with well off white kids being taught Marxism under the guise of AA studies than they are about poor black kids being able to read, write and do math at grade level. Or even close. Makes sense, given their agenda.

Screaming censorship in the same sentence when discussing children's books really makes you look dumb.  Of course we, government censors, just like R rated movies and buying alcohol.  What a buffoon.

The control is in the education departments at universities and in the national school associations and teacher unions.  Thank god a few states have pushed back against the outright bigotry that is being pushed on small children.

Please feel free to show an example of liberals engaging in government censorship.

Remember - it is GOVERNMENT censorship that violates our constitution. Any newspaper or website is allowed to block any content the owner dislikes.

I’ll be waiting for the link.

Are you a retarded person? I need to understand if your a retarded person before I reply to you in the future. The Florida Education Association endorsed all Democrats in 2022. Sure sounds like a bunch of Republicans.

Also none of you can answer what grade/age is appropriate for children to learn about gay sex and view images of boys blowing each other. Why won’t you answer the question?

"Sneak in"   lol

Many are books that have been on the shelves for years.  Why did parents just start noticing now?  Maybe read some books or keep up on what your kids are reading. .  You might realize just how common "sexual content" is in books and just how many books that have value outside of a couple scenes your crew is removing from the shelves.

None.  It shouldn't be in a school library.  That's an easy one, and I always include it because it seems it's the only one people address.

Care to answer why the other examples should be challenged or not allowed in school libraries?

Remember, these challenges and bans aren't just school libraries, they are at public libraries too.

No books are being banned by the US. Not by the conservatives anyway.

But keep that crap out of grade and high  schools. Stop getting all horny when thinking about putting your liberal bullshlt into the minds of kids. When they grow into adults, they can go buy whatever books they want.

Maybe you should stop telling teachers what they’re allowed to teach about. Take your fascist ideas back to 1920s Italy or 1930s Germany and leave us the fuk alone. How about that?

You are not against teachers curriculum being controlled.  You are against conservatives having a say in those curriculums.  Teachers are already told what to teach.

Ok I can only find minor references to banning at parochial schools. Seems trivial. If parents that send their kids to parochial schools want to allow their children to read Harry Potter I don’t give a crap. Im more concerned with what children have access vs what they don’t like adolescent oral sex and whitey is the devil.

They’re instructed what to teach by other educators. I want politicians having a say. I don’t care if they’re conservative or liberal. Stay the fuk out of it.

I just looked up Texas book banning in Google.   All sorts of articles just on that one state.  I talked about them because they seem to be leading the charge so it would be easy to see the titles.

One from Fox said that there were about 800 titles removed across 22 school districts.   Feel free to click on any of those sources you will trust.
