At the heart of modern Liberalism is Communism

Fact.  Seen it for myself firsthand.  They dress it up in "Socialism" and "Social Justice", but the primary impetus  behind today's Liberal movement is a belief that Capitalism is irredeemable and the only solution is a state-forced redistribution of wealth on a massive scale.  Their goal is rule by the Liberal Intelligentsia, where the idiot masses (ie - Trump voters) have no say in the new order.  Most Liberals - many in this forum - are completely naive to this.  They need to join a local radical movement and hear for themselves what is said during these meetings, like I have.  Race and sexual identity are mere vehicles to get to their ultimate goal, which at its core is a total takedown of everything America was built on.

Well, it was easy if you ignore reality of course.  I mean, your side of the aisle has LITERALLY elected at least 6 confirmed socialists and I believe there are like 92 others who claim to be "Democratic Socialists", which is just a smoke screen to cover up the fact that they are, y'know, actual Socialists.

Your side of the aisle is more comfortable in a room with Marx, Lenin, Stalin and Mao than they would be with the Founding Fathers.

The problem with your theory is that Democratic Socialists aren’t Communists. In fact, if you study the history of Europe, it was Democratic Socialists who fought the Communist Party the most, like Lech Walesa of Poland or the labor party of Germany (social Democrats). 
 

While I don’t agree with their politics, the Democratic Socialists of modern times, like AOC and Bernie, are aligned with the Labor Party in England and the governments of most of Scandinavia, none of whom are Communist. 
 

Meanwhile the most prominent leader of the conservative movement plays footsie with fascist dictators in Hungary, Turkey, Brazil, and a few other places. That’s more of a connection to extremism, if you’re looking for it, than anything the Democrats are up to. But again, I don’t really believe Republicans are fascist either.

Biden begged Venezuela for oil. Is that kind of footsie ok with you? China gave his family millions. Is Saudi Arabia a dictatorship? He just kissed their ass not long ago.  One of the first things he did was lift the sanctions on Russias pipeline. I guess footsie with despots  is ok . Sometimes.

I think you raise a good point here. But it depends on what is said. Trump consistently made headlines by praising strong men and saying how much he admired their autocratic ways. No President of the USA has ever said that before. True, guys like Biden and Obama and Bush talk about our friendship with China and Saudi Arabia, but they never say stuff like “hey China, I like how you handled that protest in Tianneman Square!” That’s the sort of thing Trump did. Which is part of what made him so unique and awful.

He never said anything like that. Or “tell Vladimir I’ll have more flexibility after the election”. That really happened.  I guess we didn’t know Putin was a bad guy back then. Also, Trump never said about Russia being a geo- political threat “the 1980’s called, they want their foreign policy back”. I bet the neocons gave Obama a good thrashing after that one.

Modern leftism is not communism at all.  What we have today is a corporate-government alliance which runs the country and has much more power than our elected leaders.  Our media, universities, entertainment industry, social media, search-engines, health industry, military industry, banking industry, energy industry in alliance with our intelligence cartel already run this country.  The CIA. NSA, and FBI are completely above the law and has partnered with or infiltrated these institutions to control the vast of wealth and the vast majority  of information our minds consume. 

This is why it barely matters of who we elect.  The Democratic party completely endorses this modern day fascist hierarchy of authority.  And while the GOP might mildly oppose it, their opposition is more to appease the disgruntled masses who are uncomfortable with where we are headed, without really exposing the truth. We really completely lost this country when LBJ and the CIA-FBI executed their Coup d-Etat.  

They really have no desire to redistribute wealth because they have the wealth and power.  Their goal is to expand this fascist hierarchical power structure while they manufacture division within the masses through such things as racial conflict and through the perversion of the family structure with the LGBQT-XYZ nonsense.

When I was in school, liberal academia had tolerated all these unserious ill-reputed radical gender, racial, and Marxism beliefs on its fringes but had not given them much oxygen. Unfortunately, they didn't stay there, they've now taken over and have mutated the educational environment; those of us that love and respect the country are left fighting a rearguard action.

Decent liberals are over-run but at least they are starting to see what's going on. Conservatives can help but many of the overwhelmed idiots think we're all racists. Hopefully people of good will realize what the leftoids are up to so we can take the fight to their freak show better. If JK Rowling and Bill Maher can stuff the animals back in their cages, I'd be delighted to go back to debating policy with them.
