 it's fine until you get to that one piece that looks like a deep fried spider. It's all black and stringy and gross. And then I realize I don't really need to have calamari for another couple years.

Best Calamari I ever had was at the Skydome hotel in Toronto.  I don’t like it that much either but that was great. It was a peppery sauce , not marinara.

My local joint is mob affiliated and has the best calamari- known locally for it. Family owned for 50 years
