NFL DRAFT 2023 ( official / unofficial thread )

Recommended Posts

Eagles won the draft by getting the best player at 9. WINNER!

He goes to a strong organization with a great front office, veteran leaders, etc. A perennial pro-bowler without question.

Kc looks to be doing a good job.   It still seems like this would be boring to me.  Obviously not the but think I'm going Saturday.

Agree.  The positive is CJ is better day 1 than the POS the Texans had at QB last year.  They also had 12 picks in this year's draft and 11 next year.

Great pick by Philly.......fockers.   :thumbsup:

Duh Bears should’ve let Crapman make the pick. 🤤

Most guys are watching the draft following all the teams and their picks.

mdc is obsessed with trying to make Bears cutdowns the whole night. What a life he must lead. 😆

I almost wish they would just have two salary caps. One for the team and one for the QBs. The one for the QBs can just be a one price floor/cap. $250M for every starting QB. It's so dumb. It's become meaningless almost.

As long as the networks keep shelling out outlandish tv deals, as long as the league and owners keep banking billions and billions - that argument will fall on deaf ears.

QBs will always get paid, it's just the way it is - it's never going to change unless the sport dies altogether.

Lions think its day 2.   They could have got the RB with that pick and Campbell is a big reach.

That was a nice pick!!!

Not bad. I probably would have taken Drew Sanders but I'm not that familiar with Detroit's LBs.

I don't care how much anyone makes. I just get sick of QBs holding teams hostage. It's why I wish they weren't part of the rest of the team salary cap. It's seems like teams all agree they are totally different animals when it comes to the game.

Totally.  Better than the Eagles with Carter.

Absolutely. No question about it.

Well - it's never going to change, so you'll just have to live with being sick I guess.... I mean it's just the way it is - it's the way it's always going to be.

For the record, the best slot WR in this draft is not Zay Flowers (draft darling), it is Josh Downs.  Somebody bookmark this post.  I'd wager a weeks pay.

Agreed.  The issue is giving the money to Mahomes, Burrow type and not Dante Culpepper err I mean Lamar Jackson.

Somewhere OBJ is busting a nut on his own chest.

If so the Cards will probably draft him at 33.  They are allergic to big, physical receivers.  :(

Really dumb pick for ATL.

All the needs ATL has.............and they make that pick??

Clearly a money grab for Arthur Blank, the dude must be hoping to cash in on jersey sales or something........ Bihan headed to ATL to die, damn shame.

I like them both actually. Flowers played more outside and I think he will in the pros as well.

Campbell is the best LB in the draft. Great pick. The RB was pretty stupid though.

Homerism on display. I'm going with Sanders from Arkansas.

And Gibbs is a stud RB. He'll be great.

Plenty of picks for the Cowboys.

Nolan Smith/Brian Branch/Joey Porter Jr/Bryan Bresee/Jaylen Hyatt

DO NOT PICK THE TE!

I've been following the Bears daily for the past couple months. It's who they wanted. Him or Johnson. They were able to trade back 1 spot, but might not have been able to swing another trade back over the next couple picks. They got who they wanted. The guy is going to be great. Skoronski is now gone and Broderick Jones will go soon.

Bears got their guy and a draft pick for free. Pretty solid move.
