I'm 6th generation Floridian with great-greats coming in 1870's. As a kid, Orlando was a small clean city like most of Florida, north of Miami. Then Disney came mid 70's and the area slowly became an ugly metropolis with typical big city problems - crowded and crime ridden.

I'm for some diversification, but it's sad to see a once small quaint city like Kissimmee, which used to be full of good ole rednecks, is completely gone. Today there's hardly a white person left... all Spanish now and the neighborhoods are dangerous.

This ain't the Central Florida I grew up in.
