He’s still got two more indictments coming down the pike.

He’s likely focked those all up as well for his lawyers because he’s a sloppy dope who talks about his crimes openly.

The Georgia and New York cases will go nowhere.

This records case is close to indefensible. Trump is in the jackpot here.

Part of the problem for the DNC is they have to keep the activist MSM drumming up other issues in the national daily media cycle to try to hide bad press about Biden. So we get weeks of Oceangate and now these UFO hearings. But they also run as media cover for Trump as well.

Middle America will NOT vote for Gavin Newsom. They just won't.

So I don't see how the DNC pulls this off. They can't force Joe Biden out from running. Maybe that was the previous plan, but Jill Biden and Neera Tanden are not going to give up power so easily. The other problem is they can't have Elon Musk assassinated. He's too valuable to the Military Industrial Complex. The Twitter platform is too large to stop the basic counternarrative against the activist hard left leaning MSM.

That's the thing. No one believes Hunter Biden will actually be punished. Nor Trump. Just like Hillary Clinton. So while Trump is an idiot and put himself in the jackpot here, I don't see how this actually impacts him from an election standpoint. The people who hate him, already hated him. The people in the middle, and those who are undecided, may decide to hate him less than they hate what is going on with the economy, border and crime.

Team Blue failed here. They came after Trump for too long, too heavy and too often cooked out with false narratives. Once they finally got Trump on something that will survive legal muster, they've desensitized the country from Trump's overall madness.

Once someone is hated, how much more impact can you create to try to get the same people to hate him some more?

I'm not defending Trump here legally for this documents scandal because there is no defense for it. It's true that it's part of a larger persecution of Trump in general, but Trump took a bad situation and made it infinitely worse for no reason at all. But the critical issue is the 2024 election, which is why this happening in the first place.

I can discuss actual nuance. However I've never seen you do it, not here and not at "the other place" You have absolutely no practical contextual approach to any of these issues at all. You are a hard partisan zealot.

Agreed on this documents case. This guy has chatted his way into a guilty charge. He’ll still likely skate, but man he’s trying HARD.

We will see on these others. All the best, well richest criminals can always fall back on intent, so we will have to wait to see how how much the dummy talked and how sloppy he as in these other two.

It’s obvious he’s guilty but we have our system and he’s free to traipse through it as much as the next fella.

The last real chance the DNC had was the J6 Hearings. Which was a proxy for a third impeachment. The first night of the "hearings", Team Blue needed a true smoking gun. Something to put Trump in prison. Instead it was more of the same. And people tuned out. The first night of the hearings was the best ratings they were going to get. And the general American viewing audience tuned out.

It doesn't help your cause for the 2024 election if you incite those who already hate Trump to hate him even more. The point was to sway moderates, undecideds and independents to vote for Team Blue up and down the ticket. But hating Trump can't overcome the losses in major voting blocks. Working class minorities. Suburban women voters. White Evangelicals. The military vote. The law enforcement vote. Asian voters. Pro Life Democrats. It's a long list of blocks that have a bone to pick with the Democratic Party for the past two and a half years.

Hating Trump isn't enough. It won't generate the voting numbers the DNC needs just on that alone. And it's literally all Team Blue has left. Imagine if Trump was hit by a comet from space tonight. If Trump was gone, what does the DNC give to the American people that helps the material needs of actual working class people?

How incompetent do you have to be as a Party to fail so badly that Trump is still a legitimate POTUS contender? Trump is a blithering idiot. How do you crash and burn so hard that you let that imbecile rise from the ashes?

I suspect they’ll have him pretty good on the 2020 election indictment as well, when that comes. It’s not just January 6 and that’s probably the toughest part to prove — intent and incitement. Though I think they will. But anyway, the low hanging fruit will be the fake electors plot, plot to seize voting machines, telling raffensperger and others to find votes, etc., etc. Most of that is not even denied and it can definitely be put together into numerous criminal charges.

NY is probably nothing (I think they probably purposefully had that one go first to lower expectations). GA could be the worst for Trump *if* they could actually get it together, but it’s hard to imagine some state prosecutors office putting together nearly the same case the federales can do. But a state, and a purple one at that? Can’t claim political persecution or deep state hijinks there. And not when raffensperger is the star witness.

Something to put Trump in prison. Instead it was more of the same. And people tuned out. The first night of the hearings was the best ratings they were going to get. And the general American viewing audience tuned out. I'm guessing you didn't watch most or any of the actual hearings. The committee submitted very compelling evidence (not proof) that Trump knew exactly what was going to happen, actively encouraged it through his connections to Guiliani, Stone, Bannon, and others in the "war room" at the Willard hotel; and verbally as well, although he veiled the language much like a gangster would. It was also conclusively shown that he sat on his ass in the WH watching what was going on while refusing to dispatch the national guard to quell the riot. His aides were begging him to do something, as were congressmen in his own party and high profile media members like Tucker Carlson. He allowed the capitol building to be sacked. And did nothing. Looking at that through a non-partisan lens leads you to conclude he committed sedition/treason.

Are these many bones being picked worse than a man that had record voter turnout against him before: he tried to steal the election, his followers invaded the capitol, he got caught with classified information, lied about it, obstructed the investigation into it, and got a couple of loyal employees indicted for listening to their boss? This is without mentioning the dozens of charges that have been filed against him, with more to come. And, just like the little tinpot dictator he aspires to be, he is running on a platform of consolidating power of the government into the hands of the POTUS. This is not a conservative principle.

Both of the above statements can easily be turned back on the conservative asking them. Hating Trump was enough to get Biden, an old, milquetoast, career Washington insider that inspired little confidence even among his most fervent supporters, elected in a landslide. What policies are Republicans pushing to help the middle class? How does a sitting president face a global disaster like Covid and take what was a golden opportunity to unite Americans around a common threat and turn it into an issue that divided us even further?

I appreciate much of what you post despite disagreeing with much of it, but the logical fallacies presented here don't hold water for me.

You’re reposting conspiracy theories, insisting every case is political persecution, making false equivalencies between Trump’s documents case and Hunter or Hillary, bringing up Gavin Newsome (sic) for no apparent reason, claiming that everything in the news is part of a conspiracy to distract from something, tossing in something about Elon Musk being assassinated, and on and on.

You claim you can discuss nuance? Then why do you post unhinged rants instead?

There's absolutely NOTHING in that indictment that will stick. It's a joke.

First amendment. If he truly believes there was election fraud, he's allowed to say it. Questioning the election IS NOT A CRIME.

I think every American should be concerned, especially 2.5 years after the fact.

The documents case is easier to prove and he’s definitely focked.

This new one is more serious but they have to show intent. I think they can do it but it’s definitely tougher
