Alias Detective 1,389 Posted June 26, 2023 Ok, ok, some will say, "I don't carry a wallet" and then the thread will go off on tangent about men use wallets and pansies use money clips or some other dumb stuff. But, You must lose one and need to have it replaced. Would you rather lose your cell phone or "wallet" with cards, Id's and $100 cash. Which do you choose to lose? I'd rather lose my phone but it's such a pain in the ass replacing credit cards and license. My Phone is backed up so when I get a new one it will have everything I need on it again.

Fireballer 2,639 Posted June 26, 2023 Easy…since I literally “want” to lose my phone most of the time, that’s the easy answer
Cdub100 3,830 Posted June 26, 2023 Phone. The amount of trouble I have to go through to get a new id, replace cards, set up new auto payments etc... My phone is password locked so I just need to remote wipe and get a new phone or use one of my many old ones
GutterBoy 2,898 Posted June 26, 2023 For me the answer is wallet, and it's simply a money question. I don't have phone insurance, so spending $500-$1000 on a new phone would suck, with a wallet it's only a $100 loss. Replacing drivers license would be the biggest annoyance. Credit cards are easy to replace, no cost. Nothing else valuable in wallet.

edjr 6,578 Posted June 26, 2023 This is dumb. losing a phone is a piece of cake. It is locked and backed up. Takes no work at all to replace, just money. I have at least 3 CCs and 2 different banks ATM cards and pictures of my kid I dont want to lose. iPhone > android Never lost my wallet, lost and dropped phones in the ocean

You're most likely going to upgrade your phone anyway so you wouldn't be out any money, unless you're one of those people who hold onto a phone until it dies of old age. I usually upgrade to the new iPhone every 3 years and I do the payment plan.

Not all stores take apple pay though. Close but not all
TommyGavin 790 Posted June 27, 2023 Don’t want to lose my wallet with the lucky condom ring on the outside. Once in my early 20’s was doing laundry at laundromat and apparently dropped my wallet in the gutter and was going to AC the next morning and just returned from the bank - had $1,000 cash in it. Someone found it and returned it to me before I even realized it was missing. She would not accept a tip/thank you gift.
