Cocaine Found in the White House - CNN Reluctantly Acknowledges it Two Days Later in an Interestingly Worded Article

Let's see...again based on the 1 cent amount of cocaine found in a baggy in a cubicle, that clearly got there when someone taking the tour reached into there pocket for their phone and realized, oh crap...that empty baggy from the party a few days ago is still there and hastily used a cubby for their discarded trash...

Yeah, I'd be laughing at those people for still talking about this story too.

Now it's "Someone taking a tour". 😆

Why would the government investigate cocaine in a democrat White House?  Republicans never riot, never march, never commit civil disobedience.  The government assumes republicans will sit there and take it.  Hell, the government will rig elections going forward as well, because they think republicans are soft.

All I hear from republicans is "we arent like democrats, we wont riot".  Well, OK, but by doing that, you are teaching government to disrespect you.

Gotcha.  So the amount and such makes this a non-issue.  What if.....someone, like say oh I dont know....Andrew Weissmann  were to still be talking about it.  Is he one of those people you would be laughing at? I mean, it would be difficult to find a more partisan person, more defferential toward liberals, that good ole Andrew....

You mean, when he commented on it, the day the FBI statement came out last week. I don't consider that to be still taking about it, you know talking about it the day it the day the news came out.

Perhaps if you share the length of time people should care about topics everyone can be sure to stop discussing it.

We expect Biden to run the Country, he can't even run his own Family. What an embarrassment and failure.

Seems weird that nobody can explain why Hunter and James Biden were paid 40 million that we know of by our adversaries.

Why was Bidens daughter in law, Halie, the one that was focking and smoking crack with her dead husbands brother, getting money from China? Is she a crackerjack business person too?

That lasted a year?

Check out the riots of 2020 and get back when you figure things out.

I thought we did the math here and found it closer to 70 cents worth.

Probably correct, the story I read said .007 grams, but I've now seen that was updated to ounces or 206 milligrams.

100 bucks a gram times .007 grazms equals 70 cents.

I doubt this is the first time there has been blow in the white house.  Elvis visited Nixon, lots of chanpionship sports teams have visited, and both Trisha Nixon and the Bush daughters were partiers, and Obama stuck me as a fellow who occassionally pulled an all nighter.

I'm not sure where you are in the process. I'm at the part that says be highly skeptical of anything where the author has to say 'yeah, we don't know if this is true or not.'

Right....ok...so that is fairly early I think....we are then at the "if true" portion of the game, or more aptly, the "fake dossier" stage..... where media just infers somethin over and over again until it becomes some defacto truth....

The losing Prez has made a political career of this. Lie about something over and over again and it becomes truth for many…the election was stolen and rigged.

Very powerful tool.

Hillary? Abrams? Trump? I mean, I prefer to stay on topic than to rush to that point where some politician pretends they did not lose an election....

So if are to follow your analogy - this is probably a made up story, that media will push until the masses believe it's true...sans evidence.

Sounds like you agree that I should be skeptical of it then.

We were talking about lies and the media. I was pointing out how effective that strategy is.

Abso-focking-lutely....look at how often, and also the depth, of media lies over the last 5-7 years.....we cannot trust them.....

It's a highly effective strategy.  media now is little more than political propoganda...getting access to actual information or news that is not being skewed in some direction is nearly impossible.

I disagree a bit and there are plenty of good outlets. It is good to read or watch many different types of media, even the crazy ones on both sides to get context.

Well, the issue might be your bias, and it is sometimes on display here.  I am equally critical of them, regardless of political loyalties. So it might make sense that you perceive some of them as "good" if they feed your bias.

Don’t really know Slate or Salon, but you can get good news off of these sites if you can think critically and have background on what they are talking about. Also a lot of commentary to get team blue tie fired up of course.

I like to watch a news story break then flip between MSNBC and Fox to watch them spin it. Some great comedy there.

If you are concerned about disinformation and how it shapes beliefs you should certainly be concerned about Trump as your party’s nom. He is a danger.
