Newsom and Hannity interview was pretty decent. Newsom made Hannity look pretty stupid quite a few times.

Haven’t seen that level from Ronald yet but assume he’s got some level of skill.

I would welcome a debate between these two. They could well be the actual candidates.

In my opinion it should be a good back and forth. But the disparity in terms of the condition of the two states might make it more challenging for Newsome

He may not be likable but Desantis if he knows anything, it’s policy. He’s smart and debates like Ben Shapiro so it would be fun to watch him humiliate Newsom.

We get to see. I haven’t really seen Newsom speak too much TBH and he has a smarmy look to him quite honestly but was left pretty impressed in the clips with Hannity. Handled himself well.

Trump laid out a blueprint months ago on how he was going to go after DeSantis. He didn’t really have to use it since Ron has been a sinking ship all on his own so far, but those talking points are all out there.

I think so. I assume Ronald has some skills as well so will be good. I believe Hannity is hosting so no complaining cry babies out there!

This could def be the boost DeSantis needs and is great exposure for Newsom as he has been articulating Biden’s case better than Joe or his people have been.

Orange Clown is too chicken to do this, and to be fair he doesn’t need to, glad to see DeSantis step up.

The comparison basis is poison for Team Blue and the DNC. Not only that, to ascend Newsom would mean leapfrogging over Kamala Harris. When Newsom was young, he vacationed and was seen as a surrogate son by the Gettys. Yes, THOSE Gettys. How does that narrative play out in the culture of Identity Politics? 

See, that's the thing, Newsom's one big appeal is with suburban women voters. How will they feel about a serial cheater? If the contrast is a giant stick in the mud, but at least it's a military veteran who stood by his wife with cancer? 

It's less critical what the rest of us think about Newsom, but what you think and your women friends and coworkers and those in the female sphere everywhere, what you guys think of Newsom is a huge deal in his political future. 

"Trad Con" is becoming a new growing counter culture in America. As it grows, it makes Newsom's behavior even more abhorrent and progressively less defensible by the radical left. 

Newsom's best chances at POTUS is to win over someone just like you. But clearly he can't. So what does that really say about him in total?

None of this type of stuff matters if you have political chops. 

I don’t particularly care about Newsom. He seems a bit sleazy at first glance, which I’d is where 90% of the country is at when it comes to what they know about Newsom, people have seen pictures and know he’s from Cali. 

He’s in the infancy of introducing himself to the nation. We’ll see how it goes. Most fall on their face. This debate is a nice move.

Incidentally, moving from say California or NYC cashing out on your property and buying one for half the price somewhere else is a pretty nice incentive to move. WFH / Pandemic allowed this to happen and people keep their job. Was a once in a lifetime type event for many in that regard - move and keep your job.
