If the guy’s lawyers believe the video is exculpatory they will certainly use it at trial. But I doubt it will get them anywhere.

It boggles the mind. How does someone watch a guy travel twenty yards across a gas station, go through an intermediary trying to calm him down, chase down a retreating kid, and then blame the kid for stabbing the guy? It's unreal.

The dude played a stupid game and won a stupid prize because he went looking for trouble. It's crystal clear, no ambiguity, who the aggressor was. His friend clearly lied to the newspaper, the story is 180 degrees opposite of what actually happened.

And then further, have the temerity to expect us to have some sort of collective guilt because we complain when drag queens twerk their asses to stripper music a foot away from 5-year-olds who put $$ in their crotch, while a prominent sign behind them reads "It Won't Lick Itself". Like we're responsible when a gay guy with anger management issues goes and gets himself killed because the retreating kid he attacked had a knife.

I’m sure you haven’t. And I’m also quite sure that there aren’t any mosques around in this country  teaching Muslims to murder gay people either. My point is that both religions have moved beyond that, at least in this country. 
 

But certain unhinged violent people are out there and they’re easily influenced by hateful rhetoric. And the rhetoric coming from the right these days regarding LGBT is hateful. Will it cause you or any other normal person to commit murder? No. Does it make the crazies more likely to do so? My argument is yes.
