I don’t find your analogy to be comparable. Being a trans is not the same as puking all the time or imagining yourself to be god. You’re attempting to apply simplistic arguments to a very complex subject- which, incidentally: is the main issue I have these days with conservatism in our current era.

I didn't say "justify" and prejudices are never justifiable.  Stereotypes exist for a reason though as there's more often than not a propensity for truth there, maybe a standard deviation off the norm.

I worked in an industry for 15 years where bulimia was something that needed to be watched very closely and dealt with accordingly. It is 100% mental illness and for anyone to say it's not, is just showing stupidity on their part. They are just fighting to win an argument that they can't win.
