Nothing on New Mex Governor gun ban?

Recommended Posts

Disagree about how she did it, f0ck that, but didn't see much I disagreed with as far as regulation changes.    Health emergency to get your way, though? Nah.

Hopefully this woman gets taken out. She is VERY dangerous and is violating the constitution. It’s treason. Plain and simple. And she should face the harshest punishment which is death

Just another democrat overreach that will be struck down by the courts. Dems truly hate our Constitution.

She is just a pimple to the much bigger problem at the federal level.  This is a trial balloon to see how far they can push it.

Looking forward to Trump declaring an emergency and booting Bidens illegals. Let’s play.

Gee, thanks.  I can read, and if you could when it comes to my posts, you would understand that I agree with you.

Looks like it’s probably overreach.

But the deep concern that some here profess to have for the Constitution is awfully selective, IMO.

jeezus, probably an overreach?  Nothing you say after that is valid

of course you support "climate" lockdowns so really not surprised

What parts are selective?

Where are you going with this?  What she is doing is pretty bad, not "probably overreach."

Most of those here complaining about this Constitutional infringement are supporting a candidate for President who had publicly stated that he means to abrogate the Constitution. That’s why it’s selective.

Could you provide examples? I believe Biden was also just tagged for 1st amendment violations.

No it’s bad at all. There is nothing in the Constitution that protects the supposed rights of open carry or concealed carry of firearms- that’s not any part of the Second Amendment. I fully support restricting these privileges- they’re not rights.

It’s probably overreach because I don’t think a governor has the authority to do it- that would be normally the task of the state legislature. But then I don’t know exactly how New Mexico works so that’s why I wrote “probably”.

Sure.

Biden’s actions could be interpreted by some as interfering with the 1st Amendment. Others will disagree. Trump however has said he wants to do away with the Constitution. That’s a very different animal.

Not to mention that whole insurrection thing.

But anyway, glad conservatives are back to supporting the Constitution. And they’re right: this governor obviously doesn’t have the authority to override it.

That is a little more extreme than I expected from you. Although admittedly I skip reading a lot of political threads.

So basically what every elected democrat did when bush and trump won. Got it. You have any examples of actual violations like the ones the left has been tagged by the courts over? The left seems to have a problem with repeated violations of the 1st, 2nd, 4th, 6th and 10th.

The governor was asked about her oath to uphold the Constitution and she literally said that oath is not absolute.  She knows what she did is unconstitutional but doesn't care.  I hate when politicians do this.  Such a waste of resources.  There should be a law that when a politician does something blatantly unconstitutional they are removed from and banned from holding public office due to incompetence.

I’ve never heard of any politician call for the termination of the Constitution before Trump did. You can dismiss it, try to compare it to people who have complained about other elections, but he said it. And you still support him. That’s why your love of the Constitution seems selective to me. Sorry.

Remember when Obama had multiple members of the press arrested? Libtards don’t. HT farms remembers. Trump never did that.

Regardless of your out of context CNN article can you point to an actual constitutional violation or is innuendo all you have? The fifth circuit just ruled Biden violated the first amendment. If you can’t give an example of an actual violation then sit down and shut up.
