Louisiana is a god dam sh!thole. Not even close. Especially central Louisiana. Monroe might be the worst city in the country.

Wrong wrong and wrong, I’ve been to all sixty four parishes. Some aren’t from your POV, but there is much good culture here. Very proud people for the most part,. Like cities, they have wrong side of the track neighborhoods. What it looks like on the outside doesn’t reflect what’s on the inside. They call it the “Sportsman Paradise” for a reason.

The southern part of Minnesota is a continuation of Iowa and SD. What keeps MN off the list is the beautiful, rugged northern part of the state, and 10,000 (actually 11,000+) lakes. Lake life is good life. Also the Twin Cities are pretty excellent. To visit. Wouldn't want to live there again.

@OldMaid I have lots of love for Iowa, tons of family and friends there. I even lived there for a bit. Its just... boring. Scenery is flat, largest metro only has about a quarter of a million people. Ames and IA City are great college towns, but the state is too small and not varied enough in landscape.

Oh I wouldn't put Minnesota towards the top.  Was just saying when I was there it felt like a freezing cold Nebraska landscape.  At least get some snow.  Locals said they get some snowstorms but you could go a whole winter where it is absolutely freezing with minimal dusting on the ground.   Thats no fun.

Lots of places were great at one time. The rust belt once provided good jobs at good wages. Globalists cut out for cheaper labor and left those places behind and now liberals point a finger at them and say they suck.  Party of the working people indeed.

The Rust Belt provided good jobs at good wages back when unions were at their peak. Where does the “America first” crowd stand on organized labor? Frauds.

I’m going to Newport Beach this evening for dinner. There’s a part of it called Lido Isle, with an oceanfront  boardwalk that has all these cute little restaurants and stores. Charming and gorgeous; can’t beat it.
All of Southern Cal is like this; you guys can suck it. I am living the dream life.

Washington and Oregon seem very shitty.

Maybe if you’re retarded.

I’d say of the western states, none are actually sh1tty. No matter what you can gripe about, they all have lots of natural beauty and wide open spaces

Portland looks like a great place. I have been to Seattle years ago, and even then there was a visible presence of trash. Lots of homeless. Filthy disgusting druggy homeless

Wide open spaces the 3 months of the year it's not pissing rain. Then you're fighting all the thousands of other people trying to do the same.

Wide open spaces. 🤣

Portland is in flux. However, it is but one city in the state and the coast, the Columbia River gorge, and the bend down to sun river areas are all quite beautiful.

Seattle is still pretty vibrant and the cascades are wonderful.

Basically, you don’t know sh1t. But that’s cool, all you really care is that they’re blue states

No matter where you are in those states, you could go 1-2 hours in any direction and find somewhere that you wouldn’t see anyone for days. If you wanted to.

Well maybe not California, or at least not Southern California.

Just going by what I see. The cities at least look like dysfunctional dirty messes. Full of asssholes

I would say any of the poor states with high crime, lack of education, lack of healthcare, lack of natural activities, poor weather, lack of entertainment.

Thinking Mississippi, Arkansas, west Virginia, Ohio, Idaho, etc

And all of them red states, too.  What a coincidence.

Hey guys. Portland and Seattle are wide open!  If you live in direct line from the city to the mountains, so you dont have to drive through the homeless ridden trash dump in grid lock, then you drive two hours, on a weekday, you might find a place where there arent a bunch of people. Make sure to hit the 2 month window when it's not pissing rain!

Gotta be Arkansas. Is there anything redeeming in that state?

Northwest Arkansas is surprisingly not bad. Rogers where WalMart HQ is is a cool little town with tons of mountain biking.

Been there for work a handful of times and was impressed.
