How can there be a “two-tiered system of justice” when Senator Menedez is indicted with taking bribes?

It’s a serious question. Menedez is one of the most powerful Democrats in the Senate. If the Justice Department has been “weaponized” to favor Democrats, wouldn’t they avoid charging Menedez? Hoping some of the Trumpers around here can explain this.

the MSM also did the same thing years ago with JIm Trafficant, a democrat who got expelled from the House for corruption.  Even upon Trafficants death in 2014, articles about him refused to call him a democrat.  they called him "Rep. Trafficant" short for "representative Trafficant", but that particular terminology could easily be mistaken for "republican Trafficant"
