No, my stance is that if we did away with 100% of sanctuary cities and states, it would make changes to the asylum process more effective.  People will always take the easier route.  If the two options are path to citizenship by coming here illegally or by waiting 1 year (instead of currently 4+), people will still come here illegally.

I get what you are saying about sanctuary cities, we just don't agree with what comes first or that nothing can be done until that is addressed.    I think the fact that they are protected in areas of the country once they are here is down the list for reasons they are here after plenty jobs/opportunities and the fact that everybody knows they can just cry asylum and get in.   Getting rid of sanctuary cities does nothing to address those 2 things, which IMO are more key to the equation.
