They attempted to excuse his behavior. Does that make them pro-pedophile? At the very least it makes them apologists for reprehensible criminal behavior which scarred a girl for life simply because they, themselves, wanted to advance their careers by working with someone they conisdered a genius.  That is disgusting enough, but they may also be pro-pedophile, but we just don't know that for certain.  What we do know is whenever you are cornered you go to the weakest form of argumentation, references to authority.  The problem is your authorities are celebrities, push polls, and acedemic articles which are poorly reviewed and clearly partisan.  Your reference for support here from these two celebs does not support you, rather it drags them down with you. 
 

3. I do believe that there is a moral difference between someone who has sex with a prepubescent child and someone who has sex with a physically developed teenager. Neither act should be permissible in our society; both are wrong and should be punished. But the former is far worse; that is the argument I made at the time and even when I retracted my initial statement defending Polanski I continued to make this argument. You needed an argument to deflect from your ongoing, disgusting, and constant idiocy.  You latched on to a valid one.  One not of your making.  One you took from others during the discussion, but the argument has validity, not of course from what the perpetrator thought or believed, but simply because the older child might have more physical and emotional resources to recover from the heinous, deplorable, sub-human act.  You know, the act you actively supported. (One might wonder whether your support helped enable similar acts by unsound minds which read your tripe. That possibility alone is nearly beyond atonement but you could try by Fa King Off.)
