Egg sammich. Meat.

Recommended Posts

Whole family has a different preference- me - I am a ham guy. Going out now to buy breakfast because I’m to lazy to cook and the deli is one block away.

Sausage (patties or links), bacon, ham are all excellent.  Lox is also damn good when I am in ther mood.  Steak and eggs remains the gold standard while chicken and waffles has its place, primarily because waffles.  As a kid, in the summer I use to fire up the grill before going for a run.  When I got back it was ready to go.  I'd throw on some pork chops, run down to the lake to swim a few hundred yards by way of washing off the sweat, return to the grill, flip those pork chops, do my pushups and pull ups and then eat four pork chops for breakfast along with a cantalope and some Grape Nuts covered in a bit of plain unsweetened yogurt.  That would tide me through while I rode my bike 15 miles into work where I could grab an employee meal.  Those employee meals was where I was first introduced to lox.

Fried egg sammich? Bacon on the side.

Egg on a biscuit? Jimmy Dean sausage patty and slice of cheese.

Gun to head, I'll pick bacon.  But I love me a Denny's Moon over My Hammy, and I also love me some biscuits and gravy with sausage mixed in and an egg or two on top.

Also funny that this topic was posted, because we just came back from brunch with friends, and I had this heart attack on a plate:

Quote

Crazy Clucker

Biscuit / house fried chicken thigh/ fried egg / homemade sausage gravy / chicken fried bacon / American cheese / drizzled with honey / choice of potato

https://brunchsnobrestaurant.com/menu

It always has a big slab of chicken; it's about 5 inches high as well.

I been eating them every night the last couple weeks, Heck egg is enough protein and filling it don't really need meat. I do like a nice piece of cheese on it with sour dough toast.

1 egg is 6 grams of protien. Best to add the meat to it.

Yea and I use about a egg and half + cheese and higher quality bread with more protein but yea adding meat doesn't hurt either.

New Jersey diners are glorified shltholes. They make no food better than any diners in the US. In fact, they are below average.

apologies. I like pork roll (i call it taylor ham) in any situation, it's just not beating out bacon.

at home I will probably do taylor ham as often as I do sausage though.  I've become too lazy to cook bacon at home  even with my preferred baking method.

Just had a sammich with turkey bacon, cheese, egg and a dash of pepper on a Hawaiian bun.

It was awesome.

There’s no such thing as Turkey bacon. It’s just Turkey.

How many bottles of dumbass have you had today?

It's literally says "turkey bacon" on the package.

The "bacon" part indicates the preparation, meaning it's dry cured.

It's the same way with jerky, sausaged and pickled products.

Beef jerky is beef jerky, not beef. Deer sausage is deer sausage, not just sausage. There is a wide variety of jerky products.

What an idiot.

Let me refresh you on a couple of other things:

1.) Juneteenth is in June.

2.) Tanks can be transported via aircraft.

And trannies call themselves a different sex than what they were born as. And you support that. 😆

Nope. Bacon is from specific areas on the pig. Turkey “bacon” is just Turkey meat. Sorry you fell for a marketing ploy.

If you aren't supposed to eat bacon don't eat it. But, if you do, eat actual bacon.

I'm in my 50's and I don't eat that shlt daily, but when I do, I eat real bacon. Once a week maybe.

Troubadoosh wants a hamburger and goes to a restaurant.

When the waitress asks what he wants, he mutters "beef" as drool runs down his chin and drips onto his floor-dragging knuckles.

I don't want to live in a world where I can't eat bacon.

Can you even imagine being a Vegan? I've worked with East Indian folks for over 20 years and only met one that loved McDonalds. The rest, no meat whatsoever.

It's not natural. We're omnivores.

I don't get why the food chain of meat eaters is such a terrible thing. And have tried an East Indian dessert? 100% sugar and milk ir some milk substitute or something. So gross and they are so proud of it.

While bacon does come from a certain part of a pig, like ribeye comes from a certain part of a cow, biologically those areas of those animals' bodies aren't called "bacon" and "ribeye," respectively.

It's the way the meat is prepared that makes it bacon.

Dry curing makes meat bacon. I suppose you could have chicken bacon, beef bacon, deer bacon, nutria bacon or whatever.

And what kind of man has never eaten a hamburger?

🤣
