Does hell exist?

I am confused why the existance of hell is taught to Christians when it's not even in the Bible. Who came up with the concept of hell?

Hell is being removed from God's grace. It's not a place people are sent to be punished.

It's a quality duality of life view on how to live. Moral vs. amoral...love vs. hate...right vs. wrong... How else are we supposed to view life?

God is most certainly real. If you haven't seen the evidence yet, it just means you haven't looked. I was of the same belief a little over a year ago until God made it clear that he exists.

I just don't think there is a "problem" with religion. There's simply a problem with humans on this planet. No matter what they believe ir don't believe.

My biggest piece of hard evidence is this: Go look for all of the research on Children who remember past lives. There shouldn't be a single instance of a child remembering a past life of someone who died already. Yet there are thousands of these stories.

How does this prove that God exists? Well, it depends on how you define God. God, from what I understand, isn't some separate entity. It's the source of all energy in the universe. It ties everything together. I believe that when people die, their consciousness remains and ascends to a higher dimension from our dimension, the third dimension. There are lots of stories around this with near death experiences.

I understand being skeptical of these stories, but it's either every person who has a story like this is lying or is insane. Having been the skeptic, but then having an experience myself, there's no way all of these stories are bunk.

Not insane. But I think this gets ingrained in children at young age and they just follow what their parents do in the same way that if you put a golf club in a kids hand and said this is the greatest thing ever their entire life odds are they’re going to believe that GOLF is the greatest thing ever, and they will devote their life to it. 

I see it all the time during Bible camp. Parents throw their kids into it and then they rant and rave about how what a great time they had, and how they believe and all this nonsense. Well, of course they do. You didn’t expose them to anything other than what you are already thought.

Kinda how I feel about Bigfoot and to many stories and sightings for it not to exist, where there is smoke there is fire.

Perfect example. Bigfoot. It gets passed down generation after generation that this thing exists yet nobody ever seems to see one or prove that they exist. My exact point.
