They do not.  For long before that I called out his diminished capacity.....and when he managed to do well at the SOT.....I spoke to that honestly, and that I was surprised.....

I could have lied, but then I would be no better than those who lied about not seeing his decline....I would be more liberal than anything else....so I told the truth, as anyone should have....and as Democrats should have.....

Yep. 100%.  The Party told them not to believe their eyes and ears and they happily accepted that, no questions asked.

I still have liberal friends that insist that this was never a problem up until the debate and they're still going to vote for him anyways.  In fact, one of their arguments is that Donald Trump is just as bad with losing his faculties. 

Now the Party is telling them that they must believe that DJT has the same issues as Biden.

Well I wanted to make sure you proved your hypocrisy (again), which you did.

At first I was simply pointing out that you made a positive comment about his state of the union address, in response to those (not necessarily you) claiming he looked just as bad in the debate as usual.   But his state of the union address was evidence that isn’t true, which you had acknowledged at the time.

And to your attempt to suggest hypocrisy my reply is that I would have to lie.....to be dishonest.....in order to ignore his performance at the SOT....   It was an aberration in terms of his performance over the last few years, but I acknowledged he did it.

So.....I am not surprised he looked bad at the debate, that is the norm.  I remain surprised, and perplexed, about his SOT performance.

The one blaring brainfart was people would go to Moscow to buy presecription drugs. He's able to read off a teleprompter at 92% competency. That's not an endorsement of his message, only of his ability to get it across and express it properly.

Two things can be (and are) true at once.

1. He was better during the state of the union than usual

2. He was worse during the debate than usual

Now you can say that there were earlier (public) signs that could have predicted a performance like he had at the debate (kind of like @EternalShinyAndChrome just said), but that’s different than saying “he was always this bad!!”

In the correct setting & reading off a teleprompter Biden is okay.  the impromptu engagements over the last few years have shown Biden's failings.  this is what most of us saw & correctly pointed it out.  most on the left preferred to ignore these failings, with the media lockstep in ignoring, or rather they deliberately lied.  I have no idea if you saw Biden's decline & commented on it or not these past few years.  It appears you now see he is incapable of serving as president?
