HellToupee 1,803 Posted July 28, 2024 It was Obama all along in cahoots with Harris Investigative journalist Seymour Hersh claims that Barack Obama threatened Joe Biden with the 25th Amendment, stating that he had "Kamala's approval" to force him out of the 2024 presidential race. Hersh says Obama was "deeply involved" in the alleged coup and called Biden after his "incident" in Las Vegas on July 20th. "I went over [reports] this week with a senior official in Washington who helped me craft an account of a White House in complete disarray," Hersh said. "Obama called Biden after breakfast [on July 20] and said, 'Here’s the deal. We have Kamala's approval to invoke the 25th Amendment,'" a senior Washington official told Hersh. Hersh also suggested that Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Schumer, and Hakeem Jeffries were directly involved in the plot. Obama's plan was to not immediately endorse Kamala Harris, but it was clear that she would "get the nod," and her background as a prosecutor would help her in debates. "[Obama] had an agenda and he wanted to see it through to the end, and he wanted to have control over who would be elected," Hersh said. According to Hersh, this situation can be described as a coup d'état.

The Real timschochet 6,826 Posted July 28, 2024 So the more I read, the more I’m convinced it’s going to be Mark Kelly, for a long list of reasons: 1. Astronaut, combat pilot, hero (in Iraq). He’s the real deal, people love him. 2. Married to Gabby Giffords. 3. Wins Arizona. 4. Highly respected by McCain Republicans which still represent about 15% of conservatives in Arizona and Nevada and will also peel off a chuck of Haley voters nationwide. 5. Expert on the border which will help neutralize Kamala’s biggest weakness. I think this is the guy.
The Real timschochet 6,826 Posted July 28, 2024 It’s been a week since Biden quit the race and we’re finally starting to get a few poll numbers that can be trusted: they’re still in flux, but as I wrote, look at the trend lines. https://abcnews.go.com/amp/Politics/harris-sees-boost-favorability-after-biden-drops-race/story?id=112306763 One week ago, before Kamala became the presumptive candidate, she had an approval rating of 36% and a disapproval rating of 51%. Remember this is before she was seriously exposed to the public and her numbers are closely tied into the public’s negative view of Joe Biden. As of this morning her approval rating is 43%, disapproval rating 42%. After one week! And IMO this is only the beginning. 1

Any polls taken before that reflect a completely different election and don’t matter in the slightest.

I’m hoping those fade away in couple of weeks but if they stay steady Kamala is in trouble. The second part of your post could be true so long as you’re willing to share.
