Agreed, I’m not against any of the teams, but Eagles- KC two, just seems boring.

Not much to say on Bills Chiefs.  Seen it before.  Chiefs if any year seem vulnerable.  Doesnt mean a whole lot.  Bills werent pressed into offense last week, they will need to hit some shots this go around.   Bills defense is playing fiesty anf above thrmseleves at the moment but injuries could be concerning.  Benford their best cover corner is limited with a concussion.  Rapp did not practice.  2 key guys on defense.  Rapp isnt great but the saftey room isnt stellar.  

I think both teams score their points some.  31-28.  27-24.  As we have seen, it may come down to turnovers.  A big here or there.  A Bills WR/Kincaid will have to make a big catch/play.  

Should be good, as usual.   Hopefully the good guys prevail.

Hes running out of time.  And I just think a lot of top names dont really want a part of thr tail end.  Vrabal is a guy who would have been good for Dallas.  But he wanted Pats and probably wanted no part of Dallas anyway.  Ben Johnson a hot young OC...wasnt even on their radar because they probably want to save themselves thr embarrassment of being declined.  

It probably is another puppet hire.  But like I said running out of time.  You would think at some point Jerrah would get tired and would back up the brinks truck for the best guy out there.   Toss him the keys and watch.  I understand that isnt who he is.  But most people's perspective changes into old age. I know he likes the attention.  But at some point he should not want to be the butt of the joke.

I would have loved to see that mess.  It would be a ridiculous ask and not realistic.  I think Cowboys are only team that would have realistically offered him the job.  The Raiders are dumb but not that dumb.  Deion is not a hot name in the nfl coaching hiring game.  I have no idea why he would be.  Jarrah was only guy who may have pulled that lever.  And Deion is probably in his "prime" as far as his stock goes.

I’m probably blinded by my Eagles fandom, but if you were a 100% nonpartisan fan who only wanted a competitive SB, would you rather Philly win? I expect either AFC team would steamroll the Commies. The Eagles D could at least keep it close.

FWIW I’m not saying Philly will win this weekend necessarily, just that on paper I think they match up better with whoever comes out of the AFC.

So here is the thing. While I am not head over heels for Aaron Glenn, I do not get why anyone cares about McCarthy. Even talking heads wondering why the Jets didn't interview him... What did McCarthy do in his tenure in Dallas, with lots of talent to work with, that would make him the right guy?  If you're the Jets and you plan to keep Rodgers and Adams, you're all in again and you're hoping Rodgers plays like he did down the stretch for a full season rather than taking some time to shake off the rust. You're hoping Woody stops meddling so you don't have your DC have to take over HC duties in week 6. Robert Saleh was not good, but had they kept him and remained stable, with Ulbrich sticking to the defense... I think the Jets would have been a 9 win team.  But most importantly, you need to be looking at the future which means drafting a young QB or allowing Jordan Travis to be the guy to sit and learn. McCarthy doesn't seem like the guy for that

I would prefer someone experienced. Kingsbury would have made more sense... but the Jets seem to be in love with the idea of a former Jet who really wanted the job.

Honestly they should have hired Rex because what they need is simply someone who can change the culture, galvanize the team, command the players respect and not back down to ownership. No one looks at Dan Campbell and says he is an offensive or even an X's and O's guru...

On paper yea thr Eagles are scary.  Perhaps the best overall roster on paper.  I shouldnt say this because they beat the Packers.  But they arent that impressive to me.  Lately.  What was TO margin in the GB game?  4-0?  And they still didnt comfortably have it in the bag at home.  Rams 2 late turnerovers and still had a legitimate chance to win that game at the end.  I have no reason why they play like this.  But yeah on paper the Eagles have the best roster of the 4 left.  4th best QB tho.

Cowboys beat writer Clarence Hill Jr. reports the Cowboys could “cross the finish line on hiring Brian Schottenheimer no later than Friday, possibly today.”

The betting markets appear to have known all along. Just days after it was reported that Schottenheimer was the odds-on favorite to land the Cowboys’ head coaching job, despite having never been interviewed beforehand, the current OC appears primed to turn head coach at any moment. Schottenheimer is the son of former NFL head coach Marty Schottenheimer, whose 200 career wins are good for eighth-most on the all-time wins list. Brian Schottenheimer, who first joined the NFL ranks as a QBs coach in 2001 has never held a head coaching position, and has underwhelmed at his last few stops as an offensive coordinator while with the Rams (2012-2014), Seahawks (2018-2020), and Jaguars (2021). I’m not predicting they’re going to win the SB or the NFCCG. I’m just saying, if the Commies make it, they’re almost certain to get flattened by BUF or KC. WFT’s D is just okay and their best weapons on O are Scary Terry and Brian Robinson? If the Eagles make it, at least there’s a path to a good game.

I would agree that on paper Philly would be the better matchup for either AFC team, but obviously the game isn't played on paper so i'm not sure who i'd rather see advance. Just because the eagles have Barkley  and Brown and Smith, doesn't mean much if Hurts can't get on the same page as some of those guys.  Meanwhile Daniels seems to be getting the best out of his inferior weapons like Dyami Brown and Zach Ertz.  Daniels is probably the 2nd best/most important weapon playing in this game after Barkley, and as a QB could make the argument he's the best.
