Recent Quinnipiac poll shows Democrat Party with lowest approval rating ever recorded

Recommended Posts

Wow.  If this isn’t a wake up call I don’t know what is:

The bad news just keeps coming for Democrats.

Quinnipiac University’s latest survey finds that the party’s brand has descended further into the toilet’s most forsaken depths. Just 31 percent of registered voters said they viewed the Democratic Party positively — the lowest approval rating the party has generated in the poll’s history. Just 22 percent of independents are inclined to look kindly on the institution. Indeed, only 77 percent of self-described Democrats can summon any enthusiasm for their own political affiliation. At 43 percent approval (and 45 percent disapproval), the Republican Party is in a much healthier place.

And we don’t need to look further than that same poll to get a good idea as to why the Democratic Party’s image is so thoroughly tarnished. When GOP voters were asked about their priorities, they cited immigration and the economy — both of which track with the priorities shared by the majority of respondents. “Among Democrats,” by contrast, “the top issue is preserving democracy in the United States (35 percent) followed by climate change (18 percent),” Quinnipiac’s release read.

The priorities of the Democratic rank and file are not America’s priorities. Until such time as that changes, the party should count on being unpopular.

They learned nothing from the last election.  David focking Hogg is likely going to get a high level position in the DNC.

Im guessing that they're planning on switching gears for a while.  Probably going to put the woke DEI / tranny agenda on the back burner for a little while and go back to the ban guns agenda again.  That had more legs.

WASHINGTON, D.C. -- At 47%, President Donald Trump's initial job approval rating for his second term is similar to the inaugural 45% reading during his first term, again placing him below all other elected presidents dating back to 1953. Trump remains the only elected president with sub-50% initial approval ratings, and his latest disapproval rating (48%) is three percentage points higher than in 2017, marking a new high for inaugural ratings.

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Maybe they ought to care more about Americans than others? And having unhinges Karens and effeminate cucks out front as representing the party isn’t such a great idea. No one likes them.

Surprised the numbers aren't lower, honestly. Even when they're winning and on the "right track" the party itself has been mostly useless since at least 1996. Corrupt, out of touch, and getting worse. And I'm a "liberal." Fuk the DNC with a pitchfork.

With that said, those numbers will start ticking up soon as the honeymoon fades and the reality of Donald's policies sink in. Unfortunately, the numbers will not be pro-Democrat, but anti-Trump.

The best advertisement for the party currently out of power is the performance of the party in power.  In my liketime i have heard the media decalre the death of the democratic parxty at least twice and the republican part maybe three times.  So far it has not happened.  Power breeds arrogance and corruption and carelessness in corruption.  It allows idiots to fight over power amoungst themselves and to forget that they also need to fight for it with the out of power party.

The Dems are certain to come roaring back.  Likely not with their current cast of prominent characters, but they will be back.

That’s no surprise. The GOP gave them a total layup with Trump and they somehow missed the backboard.

That's about the nicest way you could possibly describe it. More like they liquid shlt the bed then contaminated the whole house trying to clean it up.

The Democrats’ message in the next election will be easy:

1. Tarrifs raised prices.

2. Deporting violent migrants is fine. Deporting non-violent migrants raised prices.

3. Trump is clueless and screwing everything up; all he cares about is himself, his billionaire buddies, and getting revenge on his enemies.

Thats it. Hammer these 3  points home and they’ll be fine.

Every candidate for DNC chair says Kamalatoe lost due to racism and misogyny.  They haven't learned a damn thing.

Oh yeah...Cause focusing on Trump, who won't be running again by the way, instead of highlighting their policies was a super winning strategy this last election!!  HA HA HA.

Not focusing on Trump per se but his policies which raised prices. High prices are the key. If they come down, as Trump promised, Republicans will win. If they stay the same then it’s 50-50. If they go up as I think they will (hope I’m wrong) Democrats will win. No amount of messaging will have much of an impact on this.

Of course they are.  They have to push that right now because they're waiting for a catalyst to jump start the next agenda.  I have no doubt those scumbags are hoping for a mass shooting somewhere.  Or, they just need to wait a little longer to contrive another way to impeach Trump again.  They need to bide their time because Republican's hold the majority in the House right now.

The White House press secretary gave a masterful performance at today’s briefing.  One of the things she mentioned was that Trump levied tariffs in his first term, yet inflation only went up 1.6%.

Focus on how much America sucks, how it’s a sexist racist hellscape. How trannies groping kids is normal and men belong in the girl’s restroom. Try to convince us that ugly art and people are actually beautiful. Divide us by race. Cops are bad. Stop arresting criminals and open up the prisons. Focus on the environment over cheap energy and talk about abortion all the time. Treat illegal aliens better than citizens. Censor everyone who criticizes them. Just accept it when corporations export your job overseas.

Really focus on their core beliefs and double and triple down on them. It’s important that Americans learn to judge people on the color of their skin not the content of their character.

This will be for 2026. That comes first; they need to recapture the majorities in Congress.

That is exactly why the dems keep losing and I used to vote Dem. Trump will be gone and we have no idea how things will be in 4 years. What if things are better?  Those points are moot.

Tell me what you are going to do??

Why do you and others keep repeating this nonsense? Theres no comparison between these new tariffs and anything else Trump or Biden did before. The tariffs Trump placed on China, which Biden retained, were around 5% on certain goods. It wasn’t smart, but it didn’t kill us. These new tariffs on Mexico and Canada will be 25% on ALL goods. Thats a completely different ballgame. They will be, starting today, the worst ever in our history, worse than Smoot-Hawley which caused the Great Depression. You can dislike me, think I’m stupid, but surely you get the difference? This isn’t some own the libs policy; this will affect all of us in a very bad way.
