weepaws 3,148 Posted April 9 Never, trump, Musk will walk away in four years richer, holding hands of course. Leaving this country another step closer to being a Godless nation, and under attack, and homeless. But people keep voting for the same government, to keep tormenting the US citizens. The Real timschochet 6,388 Posted April 9 I’m optimistic about this too. Surrendering on the tariffs is a good start. Now if we make a deal with China prices should start to come down.

Those take months to swing though.

Horseman 2,352 Posted April 12 $1.75 pints at the bar yesterday. Must have been happy hour or something, but still, felt like I was back in the 90s. Dinner with drinks $40. Can't do that in a blue city. If you want instantant price drops move out of the chitholes.

You wouldn't know it. You keep missing the point. The chain restaurants you go to so your kid can eat for free cost more than the best restaurants here. Hey it's just a suggestion for you - since you're crying about how much things cost. You don't have to take it, stay in your chithole city, we'd all prefer it actually. For me it's just a pleasant byproduct. I live where I want to and is just so happens it's a lot cheaper than the chithole cities I used to live in. Oh, did I mention no homeless, no graffiti, no crime? 2 1

Blue state sent the tax bill the very first week of the new year to my new address in a different state for a home I no longer own. Sweet southern lady at the county told me not to worry about it, it might be a year or two before they send me anything when I called about our new home in the new red state.
easilyscan 855 Posted April 12 Don't eat that many eggs, so no big deal. Food is one of those things you can still get at a reasonable price if you watch the ads & shop around. Bought just under 11 pounds of boneless skinless chicken breasts for $24 at cub food last night. Things like homeowners insurance, property taxes, healthcare insurance, etc. are the ones to keep an eye on. They'll all be going up as they have been for decades. Homeowners insurance is the worst. It's one of those things people would be wise to study closely. Especially PPOP coverage. (personal property on premises)
