Dumbasses The parade was paid for by the country of Quatar. Our friends. It's also a great advertising venue now and for future commercials for the US Army. The US Army met it's yearly goal of recruits four months ago after Trump's inauguration. There were concerns because the US Army recruitments numbers were low in 2022 and 2023.

Get a good parking spot and when you get there, hang and watch in the back, sit in a chair and watch it from there with a cooler of beer and Gatorade. And enjoy the experience with all the sights and sounds, marching bands, and just people watch.

Sean Mooney 1,963 Posted 5 hours ago I would hesitate to assign meaning, or take the word of someone trying to assign meaning, to the soldiers actions during the parade on Saturday. I would say this- if it is true that they were taking it more light-hearted than maybe the intention was that would make sense. I know plenty of people in the military now and over the years (I would imagine many of you do as well) and they don't necessarily want to be used as a political pawn. They already are to some degree because they know that the aggressiveness against the military will change functionally depending on the President at any given time but this event on Saturday was not about celebrating the military. It was about one man using them as a clear political chess piece and in a roundabout way as a celebration of himself. Why would someone sacrificing their life day in and day out for our liberties be for a superficial look like this? The men and women in the military deserve better than that.

Then Trump made it about him, and a whopping 8,647 turned out. Meanwhile, Pride parades nationwide draw between tens of thousands and millions. Quote AI Overview Pride parade attendance varies widely depending on the location, with some of the largest events attracting millions of attendees. For example, the NYC Pride March in New York City consistently draws millions, with 2.5 million attendees in 2024. Other major events include the Chicago Pride Parade (over one million attendees since 2013) and the São Paulo Gay Pride Parade in Brazil, which is considered the largest in the world. Smaller parades, like the Indy Pride Parade, still draw tens of thousands of participants and spectators. Here's a more detailed look at attendance figures for some notable Pride parades: NYC Pride March: Consistently attracts around 2 million attendees, with 2.5 million in 2024. Chicago Pride Parade: Reached over one million attendees annually starting in 2013. São Paulo Gay Pride Parade: Was listed by Guinness World Records as the world's largest in 2006 with 2.5 million people. It broke that record in 2009 with 4 million attendees and has drawn similar numbers since. Seattle Pride Parade: Features an estimated 300,000 attendees and support from city sports teams, businesses, and more, according to KOMO. Indy Pride Parade: Attracts up to 60,000 attendees, according to Indy Pride, Inc.. Houston Pride Parade: Historically drew crowds of around 50,000, according to Houston Public Media, though one source claims 700,000 in 2015. Boston Pride: The 2024 parade drew an estimated one million spectators, according to CBS News. LA Pride Parade: Expects over 100,000 attendees in 2025. In short, trannies are more popular than Trump. I only listed a handful. Easily more than 20 million combined. However you slice it, it still is exponentially larger than the 8,627 who showed for Trump's pitiful and embarrassing parade.
