Not sure what you mean, but if you're saying, which would I prefer, to drink a beer or a coffee; definitely a coffee.

It's the Hazy, Juicy, Fruity Loopy hipster hijack with all the cartoon labels and 17 different varieties in the grocery store that is feminine and ruined a normally a good beer.  Only fruits with hair buns want a beer that tastes like fruit salad.

I don't really care if people like IPAs and special roaster coffee or whatever and don't think it's feminine.  Just shut the F up about your Dipsy-Doo Dunkeroo Triple Bypass IPA.  I'm glad you found a beer you like.  There are thousands of them.  Who cares?

I used to not like IPAs because I found them overly bitter.  I actually like when they up the malt and or other sweetness to balance it out.

Note that practically every beer is over 6%.  This is one thing I don't get about the IPA haters -- the alcohol content can be 2X or more over American session beers.  If that's ghey, I don't want to be straight.

Note also that a lot of their beers are based on Belgian styles (dubbel/tripel/abbot (quad)).  I tried them all including the Grand Cru, and my favorite was the Tripel Houblon IPA, which took a typically sweet tripel and balanced it out with an IPA level of hops.  Also 8.7% alcohol.
