WhiteWonder 2,855 Posted August 30 Never been big on player pun team names. I think you definitely have to own the player if you're using the name. Barkley and the Beast would have been good in a world where Barkley and Marshawn Lynch played at the same time.. i think they played 1 year in the league together? and Lynch was done. TBayXXXVII 2,612 Posted September 4 I have 3 leagues... Office League: "Righting the Ship!" - Did that after we dumped Winston. Kept it ever since. My son and his friends' league: "Projected 10th, again" - Two years ago, after the draft, ESPN projected me to finish 10th, I finished the regular season in 3rd, lost in the Chip. Last year, was projected 10th, finished 5th, missed the playoffs on a tie-breaker. This year, projected 10th. Gotta keep the name. Keeper League: "We Need A New QB" - Changed it to that before last season, went 14-0 (lost in the championship). Gonna stick with it until I lose in the regular season.
