This was yet another embarrassment today, and I don't believe the president has the power he thinks he has to fire generals. You could see the solidarity in the room. What happened to the federal government staying out of states and municipalities?

Every move that Trump makes is yet another step toward authoritarianism and dictatorship.

My partner and I have passports for ourselves and children and have countries we are considering moving to if this countries gets within inches of the point of no return.

Kiffin, who had never played football on any significant level, tried to immediately institute a bunch of changes to a veteran team who had no respect for him, and regarded him as an annoying little jerk. They did not respond well. Davis fired him soon after.

One thing this meeting did was allow them an opportunity to talk to each other but who knows what they said privately. I suspect Trump and Hegseth are far more popular than you believe in the lower ranks but at the O-7 or higher level, I wouldn't have any personal experience. I've never had a conversation with one.
