I'm assuming life sized?

21x21 Bought it a Shasta’s garage sale in when I was twenty. Paid two bucks for it. Was a great conversation piece. Has him wearing the silver glove and all.🤩

Oh it's a painting. My bad. I was going to say that this may be more disturbing than you peeing on the dead hooker in your fridge. Stung by a jelly fish my ass. You just wanted to pee on her.

Did you hear there’s a kids underwear discount at Pennys? Michael Jackson got them half off.

Most valuable probably a PSA 9 graded 1986 Fleer Michael Jordan rookie card.  Most prized, either Lance Berkman's AA BP/alternate jersey or a cracked Louisville Slugger name stamped bat from my since deceased HS teammate when he got a short stint with the KC Royals.

My grandmother's Ellis Island Medal of Freedom she got in 1986.

I can remember the days of those old team bags of Star cards.  I still have a couple, I think I have the Kings and Bucks sealed from 1986.  I have an 86 Fleer set in the registry.  I was top 50 but may have slipped some.  Haven't checked in quite awhile.  So stupid not to sell during Covid.

Yeah, I actually sold a few high dollar cards I got graded PSA 10 during Covid but I bought a lot more and got credit card debt that I finally paid off. And I lost out on a lot of money by holding almost all cards I have which is a ton. My collection is still worth a lot of money but not as much as it was. I should have sold everything, I could have upgraded to a significantly bigger new house. I mean I guess I could still today or anytime but it's harder to sell now with less interest from potential buyers.

Yeah I mean for most people who are around our age, few are ahead.  I definitely got ahead during that time.  Around the start of Covid I took an interest in finishing that old 86 set again I used to have and buy and sell in for money while in college.  I got some 10's.  One I did buy/flip was the Steve Johnson.  I realized  it was low pop.  I bought one and when things got nuts I put it out there and sold it.  I bought it for around $330 in late 2020 and got $8K for it in April 2022.  I wish I had bought all of them up I could find rather than just 1.  They were like low 80s in pop count for 10s.  So that lick definitely helps.

I picked up my Jordan as an investment for $5350 back in late 2019.  I'm obviously way up but not near what I was.  I had Heritage Auctions ready to do my set with stickers at the time but the packaging to send to them was onerous.  I should have followed through because my normal business was stalled during Covid.  My set was top 50 back then, I just checked it and I"m bumped down to 54.  It's weird b/c the valuable ones just sit in a box at the bank.  I have that set all 9's and 10's, then stickers with a 9 Jordan.  I am missing the Jabbar.  The estimate on the auction was I'd get around $100K (I can't recall if the Johnson 10 was still in the set or if I'd sold it and put a 9 in it's place).  Talk about missing the boat.

Yeah, mine are stored in plastic boxes with lids and the best cards in my safe. I just like owning them for some reason. Now I collect carded Star Wars The Vintage Collection figures and sealed in box starships, etc. The figures are in plastic boxes too. I pretty much got every carded figure from all the movies and shows all purchased just this year. I keep a checklist with prices paid. For the cards I keep a list in Excel also, with sold prices, except I need to go and update a lot of those prices. I base prices on ebay sold prices but haven't been as good about updating those for a while now. At least that 1986 Fleer Basketball graded set is desirable and really nice, so even though you don't have cash for it, you have it which is pretty great.

I still have several hundred comic books that probably aren't worth much, but realistically I'll probably never sell them.

I have a first-printing of Back In Black on vinyl autographed by all the band members. It was a gift and I don't really know what it's worth, but it doesn't matter. That one is staying in my collection til I die. My kids can do what they want with it.

Nice autograph. I lost Bowie and Linda Blair in my divorce.

Ouch, harsh. Especially Bowie.

I'm going to watch the Exorcist with my son for the first time over the weekend. He's been asking to see it for a couple years now. I think he's ready. Can't wait. Poor little focker won't know what hit him. 🤮

Ex is a big Bowie fan so.... Linda is a signed picture with her in full Exorcist makeup. I would put it up at Halloween time.

Used to have a great collection of concert stubs, back when you actually got physical tickets. Obviously no value attached, but they were cool mementos. Wish I knew what happened to them.

Yeah I used to do that. I lost a bunch in a fire. Cool things to have if the Ticket Stub Gnomes would leave them alone.

What about the rest of you. It's ok. You can tell us about your Hummel collection or your favorite plate hanging on the wall.

I’m not sure if I would categorize them as collectibles, but we have some tapestries, paintings, steins, clocks, etc from Europe

A collectible is anything you like to collect. All those qualify.
