I can do a lot of things well

Recommended Posts

But I have never figured out the art (or science or whatever) of using chopsticks. :bench:

What are some tasks that others find simple but to you are very challenging or frustrating?

I also can't whistle  :(

I'm Chinese, and my family used to go to Chinatown regularly to eat authentic Chinese food, and I was the only one using a fork because I could never master chop sticks.  Fock them.  We live in civilized society where we don't need sticks to eat our food.

And I can't whistle either.  Fock.

Folding stuff. Towels, sheets, fitted sheets (well that’s impossible) clothes, etc. it’s more I just don’t really care but you can always tell when I put that stuff away.

Chopsticks tip: wooden is easier than plastic

I am not musically inclined. I have a good ear, but cannot convert it to creating harmonic sound

I know jack sh!t about car engines.  I can change a tire, change oil, and change out brake pads and rotors, but that is really it.  I never learned the ins and outs of an engine.

Sadly neither has @SUXBNME - he just plays a car doctor on the interwebs.

It doesn't take a mechanic to operate chop sticks.   I can do easy stuff myself, now I pay for it as a convenience.   But tough jobs i don't care to see if I can do it or not.

Shouldn’t share those things, if you can’t handle it.

Remember lyrics to songs. I can't sing a single song if it isn't playing. Even then I mess up the lyrics to songs I have heard a thousand times.

How's your surfer dood church doing?  Handling the sex abuse scandal in Texas?  Or numerous other issues around the country?

As a Christian, I won't discuss specifics about what you shared here a while back.  You seem comfortable doing so, though.  Because you aren't really a Christian, in the true sense.

This place would be better if you just delete your account.  Or perhaps as a negotiation, you could just stick to bad advice on the Main Board and never post on the Geek Club again.

WeePaws “your dad what was his name” might be the dumbest thing, but I usually chuckle.

I'm not very good with chopsticks either. But that's just because they don't make left handed ones.

I can sing & whistle lol, I've written songs and performed them in a band. I'm an excellent artist, can draw and paint pretty much anything. I've contributed greatly to at least 3 famous logos. I'm a decent carpenter, I've created at least 10 inventions, ( concept only ) I'm a pretty good cook, I bake and don't even measure ingredients lol. I'm a good pool player both in real life and online. I'm sure I can hold my own on a football field with any of you guys. :)

chopsticks are dumb!

Sporks rule!

Don’t be so modest. Tell us more Santa.

I like learning about cars and engines and know a lot of the basics. But I absolutely hate wrenching and fixing them. There's never enough room to get to the bolt you're trying to get your socket on, nothing ever comes out/goes in easily, then you're left with a big greasy mess and bloody knuckles.
